Overall, it was good for the price. My only complaints were that the towels with awful and the sheets and blanket on the beds were way too thin. The towels felt like they had been in use for 25+ years and just rewashed.

Warning! Major incompetent Staff issues. They have a policy of charging a $60 deposit fee. I was charged twice for the deposit and they refused to issue an immediate refund. I was hung up on when asking the manager to issue a refund even though I am out of state. The night clerk that checked us in struggled the whole time and it took 45 minutes to check into a room. The first room we were given was a smokers room even though it was advertised as a non smoking room. We were then given a second room but the lights did not work upon entering. The night clerk was later found outside crying sayin the manager has her working 18 hour shifts 7 days a week and they treat the employees horrible. a Two star rating for this place is generous. Readers you have been warned!

This Motel 6 is not like the others. The room was very small, with a double bed. The refrigerator was a small dorm style. The pillows were horrible! Lumpy and small. It's like rolling up your socks and throwing in a pillowcase. Might as well had no pillow. The photos from the website and what we actually got for $300 per night was not comparable. Breakfast was coffee in this little vending machine area at the main entrance. They said you can walk to the Notre Dame Stadium from the motel. Found out it's a 2 mile walk. That's not for me. The area is sketchy. Anybody can walk in at any time and head up the elevator. The parking lot and our 3rd floor smelled like weed. Would not recommend this property to anyone. Expedia shouldn't even recommend it. Very disappointed.

The checkin was going smoothly, but for some reason, there was what I assume was a manager, interrupt and force another employee take over. She then loudly pronounced that the people waitong in line needed to be checked in because they had been on the road and just wanted to their rooms. The staff was in no way moving slow or delaying the checkin. This manager made the process longer and was extremely rude to the staff. The smell of smoke in my room was overwhelming and there was never a staff member at the front desk to inquire about this issue.

Everything was good except we could hear the people above us walking around at all hours of the night - it sounded like stomping but over multiple nights it’s likely that it was just how the building is built. Lots of noise from hallways and other rooms gets in.

I stayed at this hotel while dropping my son off at Notre Dame. We did the same thing last year and were pleased enough that I chose to come back to the same hotel this year. A good value compared to other hotels that are more expensive, especially with increased rates at times like this. When we arrived, our room had not been cleaned. The woman at the front desk let us know this in advance and offered either to refund our money or to give it a quick clean. Since I was pretty sure we couldn't find another room at this late date, I accepted her offer and we stayed. I don't know her name but she was great under the circumstances. The room was given a full cleaning first thing the next morning and the manager offered a partial refund, which was appreciated.

I booked 3 nights. After the 1st day I came back to the hotel, the keys didn’t work to open the door. Went downstairs and asked front desk to reactivate my key. When I entered the room, all my clothes in a bag and my makeup bag left in the room all gone. The front desk lady helped me looked everywhere and finally found my stuff inside a cleaning lady’s cart! When asked the manager what happened he couldn’t give me reasonable answer and wanted to send me run around dealing with Expedia. Until I showed him the receipt that I paid for 3 nights. He refunded my money and wanted to switch me to another room but I have to pay for that. I just left because I felt unsafe. A couple next to me had problems with their room as well. It’s a shady place and I would never return.

Wi-fi is practically non-functional, meaning any internet device that is not in a data plan is useless. The building has one elevator that often makes ominous noises, and the stairs trigger the fire alarm.

Booked four rooms for my team and arrived to find dead bugs and an overwhelming chemical smell in the one room a team member checked into. We all opted to find somewhere else to stay. Two weeks later I came to realized I’d been billed for the entire reservation!!! I’m am outraged and extremely dissatisfied with Hotels.com support and assistance getting our money refunded.
