Booked nice hotel like a steak steak restaurant was closed that night tried booking spa twice in advance before arrival no response tried on arrival was full

I found this property to be underwhelming for the price. The air conditioning didn't work and I had to get a stand up fan for the whole stay. The room was dated. I don't like how the doors open outwards and feel that is a bit of a security issue especially for women staying on their own. The bedding was very ordinary with just a bottom sheet and comforter..no other sheet. The gym was tiny and often crowded. The spa's looked beautiful but feel some of that space could be better dedicated to a slightly bigger workout facility. The breakfast that was included was nice. The service at the eateries was hit and miss. No one wanted to make an attempt to communicate in English. I think the staff should have the basics. The steak in the steak house is priced per 100grams and if you don't notice it on the menu before you walk in you can end up overpaying than what you had originally planned. I thought having to pay for the coffee in gym was unreasonable. I like to have a cup before I work out in the morning and before I hit breakfast and had to pay for it. Whereas had I had breakfast before my workout, coffee would have been unlimited. I just don't feel there is value nor would I say this is a 5 star hotel. I would rate it as a 4 star perhaps that needs a renovation. I will be staying at another hotel next year.

I went to conference and the hotel was close by. It’s located near everything central in Hamburg. The valet service is comprehensive and front of house staff are very attentive in regards to taking care of taxis and welcoming you to the hotel. Check in staff are all friendly and fun. The rooms are very European and basic styling but they are generously proportioned and well cleaned. In fact, the cleanliness was very high. This is a good hotel, it won’t disappoint.

Excellent location with friendly staff

We have been coming here for years cause we like that it has everything under one roof from spa,gym and pool to great dining and bar options and everything is top level - and this time we attended the NYE/Silvester Party. What an amazing experience!

This is a beautiful hotel with some lovely restaurants (albeit expensive) in a very nice area. Walking distance around 15 minutes to the main area of the city. Staff at the front desk were helpful but the checkin person was slightly abrupt/not very smiley! The room was very nice only downsides were the TV had only a few English channels and these were news, the options to use your own TV accounts were helpful but the connection was really slow and programs kept buffering which was frustrating. No kettle or coffee machine in the room was really disappointing for a 5 star hotel, seems to be a way of forcing you to order room service which was extremely expensive. Buffet breakfast was good, very busy on the weekend but still received good service. The spa was lovely, enjoyed a very good massage and the pool facilities, pool was extremely busy with lots of young children on the Friday afternoon which wasn’t very enjoyable, other times it was nice and peaceful. Be warned the sauna area is no clothes!!! Overall a lovely stay just a few points to improve on.

The property was amazing. The only issue in the entire stay was that all the lower level parking meters died for some reason, so be sure to take the ticket stub with you and pay with reception to avoid this inconvenience.

Great hotel, just slightly outdated Great location

This is a fabulous place. Luxury everywhere. The room was large and light with quality fixtures and fittings and the rooftop bar is splendid. Breakfast was worth it and the swimming pool was very relaxing. The only place we'll stay in Hamburg.

The staff was very friendly and accommodated me getting there a little early. They were patient with me and my not so good German. The amenities are amazing! Gym could maybe use a little more space but it was manageable. Very convenient location near subway stops. I would definitely stay here again!

Lobby decor - plants, water features, artworks. Lovely large bedroom and bathroom. Restful spa area, Helpful staff.

Had an amazingly stay, would highly recommend. Will definitely be back.
