I like that it was very nice to have security to come in the property and didn’t like the having to go to another building down the road to pick up the keys and check in at 5 pm, checking out at 11 am.

I read other people’s comments before going, but yes, I took the risk of going. The first disappointment was when my service dog came in with her update ID tag, they didn’t let her vaccination in writing. It’s supposed to be that in order for you to have an update ID and tag, it’s because she’s up to date on all her vaccination. In conclusion, a relative had to travel for 2 hours to take the dog. We thought, wow, the hotel must be excellent. What a disappointment! The sheets were yellow or of an undefined color, the bathroom was dirty, there was only one small bar of soap for 4 people for two nights, and not a single phone in the room to communicate with anyone. I’ll leave that for you as homework.

Easy to get around. Pool area was nice

My family really enjoyed our stay here. The pool area was large and had a lot of seating/lounge chairs. We missed the memo about the game room being under the first building until the 4th day, but that was not the fault of the staff. Towels/linens were changed out in a timely manner when requested and other messages relayed via text message (large brush fires happened while we were there and the resort kept us up to date). The unit itself was clean and nicely decorated. We had a great time!

The check in process sucked. Went early, turned away.

Overall, the unit we stayed in was nice but still needed updates and some cleaning. The private beach was very enjoyable. We visited the pool once which was large and very clean. They also had food and refreshments available. We would recommend the area but the units do need some updating. Very small patio, great ocean view! The staff was excellent and brought us everything we needed right to our door.

A Perfect Anniversary Getaway at Ocean Pointe Suites! Ocean Pointe Suites in Tavernier exceeded all our expectations! We spent a wonderful, quiet, and beautifully scenic week here for our 25th anniversary, and it was truly memorable. The location is perfect, central to many restaurants and shops, and a convenient two-hour drive to Key West. We thoroughly enjoyed having the beach, a walk-out pier, and a relaxing pool right on the premises. The ocean views were simply spectacular, and the sunrises were breathtaking! What truly set Ocean Pointe Suites apart was the staff. They were incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to make our anniversary getaway special. A huge thank you to Allison for helping to make our stay unforgettable! We absolutely loved our time at Ocean Pointe Suites and exploring the Keys. We can't wait to return for another visit and soak up more of everything this wonderful resort and area has to offer. Highly recommended!

Lovely 2 bedroom condo that had everything we needed. Clean and comfortable. The pool is beautiful, but if you want to have a chair/table to sit at, you need to get there early as many people had left items on chairs saving them.

We loved this property, but still needs things like… ping pong, pool table under the Bar/ grill cafe maybe… corn hole… Pool area was wonderful. Only one hot tub/ always packed. Room was great with beautiful ocean views.

Very spacious apartment. Clean heated pool and warm hot tub were great. Friendly staff. Easy parking. Gated to apartments so very secure. Great little beach. Small balconies, but wonderful view from building 3. Also building 3 very convenient to walk to pool. Limited items in kitchen but appliances especially washer and dryer were great. Will definitely stay here again.

Amazing… such a wonderful stay. Beautiful views from the M Bed Room and Living Room/ Kitchen. So spacious and the location was great. Will definitely be staying there again.

Property undergoing renovation in certain areas.

Great place, quiet.

Large hotel with a great pool and hot tub area with walk up bar and grill. It does get crowded however, and can have lots of kids - that may be right up your alley or something to avoid. A separate basic restaurant on the water and a small beach area. Room was very nice with kitchen, could easily cook meals versus going out to eat (regular size fridge and electric stove, lots of cookware), but plenty of restaurants within 10 miles. Upscale versus your typical Rt 1 motels/hotels.

Nice big suite with a full kitchen. Great view of the water from the patio, though the patio is rather perilously small. Checking in was a little annoying because you have to go down the road to a completely different building to check in, then head back to the actual property. Navigating the buildings was also a little confusing.

I loved the small private beach and the pool area. The local restaurant has really friendly and kind servers. The room could've been better cleaned. The rooms were nicely decorated and had plenty of space. The room was not cleaned well. It was a shame because we enjoyed the area otherwise.

Nice property overall, well landscaped. Great pool area with a snack/drink bar, and they play a good mix of music all day to enjoy. The beach area is smallish, but enjoyable. We did a little snorkeling in the calm water there. The grounds were well kept, with the exception of the area under our building, which looked like an abandoned construction site. Obviously there was work in progress, but not while we were there. The photos of the condos on the Expedia site show interiors/decor that are significantly nicer than what our actual unit was. It was more along the lines of disappointing than unacceptable. If we had not checked in so late, after such a long day of travel, I might have asked for a different unit. The TVs in the living room and bedroom were good, and the appliances were new. Wi-Fi was good and fast. But note that the balcony is quite tiny. There is room for the two chairs, but nothing else. Definitely enjoyed the place overall, and would stay here again. But I would be wary of getting a condo that is not as nice as the pictures show.

Hard a great getaway for a week. Loved the beach and pool options. Awesome outing to snorkel at the Christ of the Abyss statue. And also enjoyed kayaking in the mangroves nearby. Great trip!
