The room was very clean, and the hotel is located in 4 historic buildings. I would personally prefer a more traditional interior style, but so be it. The brasserie, 701, is in a beautiful, original room with high ceilings and original plaster mouldings. The food is quite good and basic French—steak frites, etc. The hotel’s location is perfect.

No shelves in shower. Decor looks like it came from Target.

We spent three days exploring Montréal and loved staying at this charming hotel. It is perfectly located to walk to all the main sights. It is modern with all the amenities one expects but it hasn’t lost its soul in a recent renovation. The room was spotless and quite spacious. The staff was very attentive to all our comforts.
