Excellent breakfast and good comfortable beds and bedrooms. Staff very pro active and helpful. Very good for big groups.

The hotel is located by the main shopping estate in the area, not exactly in Cognac but easy enough to drive into Cognac on one straight road. Wifi is not very well connected. I used it in the common dining area. Breakfast is fine. Parking is ample. Communal kettle by the entrance did not go down well for me. I have to fetch water from my room to fill the kettle and boil it in the public area. Not great value for money but is acceptable and adequate for a stopover.

Comfortable clean and quiet

Simply a nice comfortable room. Nothing amazing, but also not expensive. Walking distance to a few places for food etc. Good pit stop on a drive down to Southern France... Breakfast was a bit rubbish - typical unhealthy fatty bacon/sausage and powdered scrabbled eggs with a selection of pastries freshly thawed from a freezer.

Clean comfortable rooms. Staff were nice when around. Maybe just because it was off season but a bit hard finding staff to order food / drinks in the evening. Restaurant food a bit average, seemed like premade dishes just heated up. Right in outskirts of city, not much around on a evening but convenient for us as working in Jarnac which is just a short drive. Pool outside only so not usable in winter.
