Amazing hotel and food, super comfortable bed. Room very clean and tidy. Friendly and informative staff, big thank you to David who checked us in at speed and gave little tip about breakfast, that was really delicious. Will come back in the future

The hotel is very well located, with the city centre and lots of attractions reachable on foot, but there is also a very convenient car park. The receptionists and waiting staff at the restaurant were excellent. We enjoyed a room with view over the wharf. The restaurant served good food at a reasonable price. We really enjoyed our time in Dundee. Thank you very much.

Nice hotel and friendly staff. Aircon in room was the only downside as wasn’t very effective.

We’ve stayed at the Apex Quay before and really enjoyed it. Definitely not disappointed on our second visit it was equally as good, we’ll be back! Great hotel, great location and really friendly staff. Highly recommend it.

Amazing hotel for the money. Great location, lovely room, friendly staff and the complimentary spa is 1st class. Will definitely be re-booking next time I’m in Dundee.

Good clean hotel and room. Good spot to walk into town or along lovely water front and close to the station. Staff were lovely. Main criticism was that it is directly East looking with large windows and the blackout curtains were not up to the job so we were woken by the light at 5am. The rooms at the other side apparently got very hot for a similar reason in the afternoon and there is no AC

The property its self was OK. However the twin beds were very small and not really suitable for anybody over 5ft 10”

Friendly helpful staff. Clean tidy room in food condition. Breakfast excellent. No Aircon in the rooms which led to it being quite stuffy on a really hot day.

The property needs updating, I’m not sure I would call it a 4 star hotel. The staff were kind and polite. The breakfast was nice. The room was a bit dated, especially the carpet. All in all it was ok, not sure I would go back.

Stayed a few times befor and always thought it was as amazing until this weekend. I Didn’t get checked in until 5:15pm with no real explanation. Then when asked for late check out on Monday to use spa facilities was charged £20.

The quayside area of Dundee where the Apex hotel sits is lovely. You can walk or cycle for miles alongside the river and it's clean. The town centre though is not so great. It's quite run down and there are lots of empty shops. The staff in the hotel were lovely and helpful. The rooms are cleaned and a good size. We had one facing the quay which meant we could watch the people doing watersports. The restaurant was clean and the staff were attentive but the food was average. Not terrible but not great either. The pool was cold but after a sauna it was perfect. A bit small and too cold if you were bringing children.

We checked in a 4.30 snd were told that the room woukd not be ready until 5 as laundry had not been delivered. For this, we were offered a 'free' drink, which was already part of my booking. As the hotel had sent approx one email per day since I booked it, i would have thought they could have informed me that check in was not available as advertised before we arrived. There were never enough staff, so it took ages to get served in the bar. Overall, a poor experience
