Great location. Great history to the hotel. Loved it

Breakfast was very good. Excellent selection of fruit and bread. Orange juice tasted fresh. Hot dishes were very good. (Did not try the cheeses and cold meats.)

Great location. The room interior wall is a little old fashioned… I suggest to not use a glass restroom door because when any of us turn the light on in the middle of the night it illuminated the whole room and disturbed..

The check-in process was seamless and reception staff were efficient and friendly.

Great location, charming old-world vibe, and outstanding staff. Breakfast was a highlight. However, uncomfortable beds, a leaking shower, and no AC hurt the experience. Rooms are also small—best for up to four people. Overall, not a place we would return to.

Breakfast was great. The rooms were clean, but the bathroom was essentially in the center of the room with a door that didn't close properly and was made of glass. The shower was excellent, but slippery, with no grab bars or racks to hold on to. The staff was very nice and helpful although the hotel policy is not to help guests bring their luggage into the hotel (no doorman) or to the room. The room was very clean, but quite small. The air conditioning was temperamental and did not respond very well to attempts to regulate it. The location is excellent, a few steps away from the Plaza Mayor. Knowing what I know, I'd probably still stay there again.

There was a good choice for breakfast in the mornings. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Would recommend.

Excellent location. You can walk to many city attractions such us El Prado Museum, the Royal Palace, etc. Friendly staff. Good breakfast selection.

Great staff and hospitality, nice room, perfect Location!

My family and I stood at Petite Palace por a week and had the most amazing time! The breakfast was delicious and the staff were so helpful and welcoming. They were always friendly and willing to assist us with anything. We hope to go back soon!

There is no other hotel in this town with a better location. The building is beautiful and very historic. You’ll never close your way with the location of this hotel. It’s inches away from Plaza Mayor. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English

Very helpful and welcoming staff. The hotel is well located for Sol metro station and walking distance to many places of interest in city. Plaza Meyor and Puerta del Sol short distance away. Room was quiet and clean, featuring comfortable beds

We enjoyed our stay here! It was perfectly situated and we walked everywhere from here. The staff was nice-we were able to store luggage. The breakfast was incredible- so much to choose from and excellent quality. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was impeccably clean. The reasons I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 were- *The walls are paper thin. I could hear babies crying all night long. *The room is tiny and the window looked out into a dingy space-didn’t bother us that much as we were gone most of the time, but I want to mention. *It’s a little outdated. I loved it, but it’s definitely a solid 4 stars. It worked perfectly for our family and I would recommend it and stay there again.

Was happy with the room, but a little disappointed in the breakfast primarily due to behavior of the staff. Sent a separate more defining message to the hotel directly.

Fantastic location although the upkeep of the rooms could have been better. Most electrical sockets in our room did not work when we arrived - to be fair this was resolved by the hotel within a few hours of reporting it, so was overcome although it did take the shine off our arrival.
