The hotel and room were pristine! Very beautifully designed and maintained. We stayed only one night, to catch an early flight out of Florence but wish we could have stayed longer. We walked to a local restaurant and felt very safe- it was a residential area. The bus line ran along the street but we walked

Although the hotel is a distance from the central area of Florence, it was a peaceful location and easily accessed by tram and bus routes. The room itself is spacious and comfortable and the shower/bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was a small buffet and was delicious. I would recommend this hotel, particularly to solo travellers like myself!

Great location and wonderful staff!!

The staff was very kind and helpful! We had to fly from Florence to Zurich and did not want to take our big luggage, so they held our luggage for us. Then they had it in our room for us upon our return to Florence. They even remembered each of our names when we returned several days later, and we really felt like guests instead of just another number. I can not thank them enough for their hospitality!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel La Fortezza. The rooms were clean, modern, and spacious for 2 - 3 people. The beds and linens were luxurious. The breakfast was good and plentiful. We walked to most of the sites we wanted to see or took a short taxi ride when we were too tired at night. I highly recommend the hotel.

Staff was awesome. Checked us in quickly, contacted cabs for us when needed, pointed out the train station which we used often, recommended places to eat, and best of all provided a needed corkscrew for the copious bottles of excellent wine or beer our group consumed. They even researched train options to Rome termini and airport, so we would not miss our flight, due to a rail strike the day we traveled home.

Beautiful and clean place to stay. Staff was great. Not close to touristy places but just a 10 minute walk away.

The hotel was very clean and pretty. The desk staff was helpful - they even gave us an umbrella to use in the rain. The bathroom shower with the Statue of David on the wall was a fun touch!

The hotel is conveniently located close to Strozzi tram station; just a short trip from Firenze S.M. station. The hotel was very modern; clean and spacious. We were quite impressed with the breakfast buffet. The staff was friendly and helpful in helping us find great places to visit and eat. An excellent experience!

The staff was exceptionally welcoming and eager to assist, creating a warm and accommodating atmosphere. The rooms were beautifully maintained, spacious, and spotlessly clean, with modern decor and comfortable furnishings that contributed to a relaxing stay.

Tram is 1 block away, wifi connection is fast, breakfast has awesome selection. Room was spacious (1 king bed) with excellent bathroom.

Perfect spot to be close enough to central Florence but away for quiet. The room was exceptionally clean and the staff was very courteous. The breakfast had a wide variety - there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
