Charming hotel on the Rhein river. Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice rooms.

The apartment suits in the secondary building offers a great view of the ferry terminal and river in front. We enjoyed the nice breakfast too. The staff was polite and friendly.

We stayed in a separate place a short walk from the hotel. A beautiful, large living room with a gorgeous view of the water. Loved how quiet it was there and the walkability of the town to go eat dinner. Would need a car to drive to other towns instead of taking a train but I can't really give opinion on train accessibility since we had a car.

Nice hotel and beautiful location. We stayed in the separate building which seemed brand new and was great for our family. The only bummer was we had no WiFi so we had to go to the main hotel and sit in the lobby. They said they were trying to get it fixed but we stayed two nights and never had WiFi. Other than that, we had delicious dinners both nights at their restaurant and loved the location to get on the river boat . We’d definitely stay again.

Good location and helpful staff

Such a lovely hotel with a yester-year vibe. Seems kinda stuck in the past a bit but has good bones, lovely outside terrace, friendly staff, clean, could witb a redesign in room & bath it could be more refined & generate a new generation of patrons. I liked the location very much and would recommend simply for that. Support this lovely establishment.

Hotel was well placed and very good views from the balcony rooms . Wifi was very poor cutting out all the time and not working at all on our last day .

Very nice property and staff at reception and housekeeping is very friendly. Staff provided a wheelchair (post surgery) and the property was easy enough to navigate. The only downside, I am sorry to say, is the breakfast. On a Saturday morning it was chaotic with everything from bread to cold cuts and plain cheeses being gone. You had to ask for coffee mugs. Got one. Had to ask for a second. Had to ask for coffee again. Had to ask for knives (which were not available anywhere). After 20 min bread and cold cuts were refilled - slowly and droves of people emptied everything right away. We skipped dinner in the restaurant after that experience. With limited mobility we went back for the Sunday breakfast. That was better but it was still difficult to get coffee and I could not get someone to bring more coffee later. I had the impression that the staff was overwhelmed and stressed. Perhaps staff shortages or a lot of new hires. With a Michelin restaurant on site I would have expected better breakfast management and staff training. I personally would not return but under different circumstances other guests may have an excellent experience. Make sure to reserve a spot in the spacious hotel garage around the corner. Without that parking can be a challenge.

Wonderful staff. Classic hotel overlooking the Rhein. Hotel is kept up to date and clean. Very nice Spa. Good restaurants in-house; better than in town.

Really beautiful property with amazing views

As ever, this hotel is a wonderful place to stay, right beside the Rhein, and it feels like walking into another world. It’s a great place to get away to, with one or two really good restaurants (including its own) close by. Breakfast is very much recommended here as well.

Lovely hotel on the Rhine though my room did not have a view. The rooms are very large. The hotel bar is cozy and well managed. Hotel staff is great. Good location for exploring the middle Rhine. Maybe 5 minute walk to train station. Boppard hotels will give you a guest ticket for local trains/buses.

Location and waterfront. Roxanne was awesome.

I have stayed at this Hotel on three previous occasions and loved it. This time we had to change rooms in the middle of our stay due to our mattresses being substandard/damaged. Hotel was flooded with cruise groups that were loud and somewhat obnoxious. All in all,not a great experience. Willing to give it one more chance next year!

Can't get any better area by the Rhein. Luckily we have reserved a space for our car. Their car park is a few blocks behind the hotel. Just check in first then park your car. The room is a what I expected. Electric fan provided as ' no air con'. It is common for old building hotels have no air con. Perfect temperature to sleep would be in Winter. Great selction of breakfast food. Would love to come back for river view room next time.

We stayed in the apartment. It was nice but would stay in the main hotel in future. Apartment feels a bit isolated and there is no room service there. Also apartment is directly in front of noisy ferry dock. Carrying baggage to and from hotel was a bit inconvenience for us. However, on the whole, hotel Bellevue is exceptional in term of location and service. We would stay in the same hotel again in future.
