Attentive, conscientious staff. Super value for money

Little issue with getting wrong room when we got there was fixed quickly. Be warned there is no lift and quite a bit of stairs, was fine for us. Breakfast buffet was really good with all the parts of an English breakfast. We walked to downtown Carlisle easily. Excellent Sticky Toffee Pudding in hotel restaurant.

The breakfast menu was excellent, as was the service. The staff was attentive and responsive when I requested another room because of road noise.

Staff

I was staying in the hotel whilst my dad was in a nearby hospital having experienced a stroke. The staff went above and beyond and were very flexible about extending my stay and letting me work in the function room etc. The local area is also very nice especially the fish and chip shop and Indian restaurant and pub across the road.

Was welcomed into the hotel after a long wet drive to the hotel from Liverpool, restaurant looked amazing, but already ate, Amazing breakfast in the morning before the next trip back to Northern Ireland. Will be back

Breakfast was great, the room was clean and tidy with really thoughtful complimentary items included. Even being on the road side of the building, the windows kept everything nice and quiet.

Nice hotel, clean and central with parking. Check in was self service and could’ve done with more signage/explanation as was a bit confusing

Comfortable and well stocked room - great staff and good service and good value, all welcome after several days of travelling.

Stayed a Saturday nigh in Aug 2025 and would stay again. Room was in great condition, clean, tidy and as shown on the website. The breakfast was fabulous
