Beautiful resort, great food. Amazing staff. Just wouldn't go back in the summer due to seaweed

First time at an all inclusive and it did not disappoint. We will be back I’m sure! Great staff, and great resort! Happy I was able to arrange my wife and I’s 5th year anniversary here. Oh and the New England Patriot Cheerleaders were there and they performed 2 times which was also a cherry on top! Thank you Hyatt Zilara and a special shout out to Miguel who was a server at the Tempest! Best service we have received in years!

To start I am writing this view to bless all the folks who don’t have the ability to see this place in person prior to visiting. I had to work off of the reviews prior to coming here as I was researching which resort to choose for my honeymoon while I was on deployment in the military. I will lay out this review plainly with pros/cons in a way so I would know the unseen thing/way things work prior to choosing to spend potentially thousands of dollars. Pro: the valet service was great if you had a rental car. Check in was smooth but a problem happened. Con: we upgraded rooms to an “ocean view room” for 20 dollars more per night equaling 80 per night but when we went into the room there was a structure overhangs in the way to block our view of the pool and ocean except the horizon line. Pro: the room was clean on the inside and met expectation. Con: there are raccoon like creatures called the “Coatis” that will come into your room eat your food, lay in your bed, pee and poop in the sheets and more if you leave your door open or your balcony door open so they tell you you have to keep it double locked closed which basically defeats the purpose of the balcony. Personally my wife and I like to have the door open to listen to the waves but you can’t or else a raccoon will ruin your life. Great resort and exactly what we were looking for in a quiet relaxing vacation.

Second time at this same resort. Great people and loved the relaxation. It’s 9/10 on cleanliness. Unfortunately, the beach was not usable due to seagrasio season and the smell was horrible. We also got assigned a room at the very end of the resort next to a door where construction workers were entering and exiting all day and into the night. Saws and machines starting early in the morning, was kind of annoying. I’m an early riser anyways but some peace and quiet would have been nice. I’ll for sure have to keep in mind to request the other side of the resort. Raccoons weren’t crazy this time, only saw 2 and never saw an iguana while there. Our transport with MTS was eventful coming in. The van hit a piece of a car in the road and busted the AC and radiator and we had to wait for a new ride on the side of the road. We were all pretty uneasy.

Property was very nice and beautiful. The room was very nice and we slept great on the mattress. The swim out pool view room was wonderful. We wish the food had been a bit better. It was ok but just not great. Food needed more seasoning.

Great stay @ Hyatt Zilara! Over all I give this property a 9.2/10. I recommend this property to others & enjoy the stay. It is a decent size resort with few amenities. Great staff very attentive & generous, almost like family feeling. Room size are good of all sizes and comfy. Very clean property & good atmosphere.

Had an amazing time get.

We enjoyed our stay. The food and drinks were great. Our only issue was that our tv would not power off, so it stayed on the entire trip. Also, the ceiling fan only has one speed, which is Mach 1. The property was. It overcrowded, which was nice. It is a small enough property to make getting around very simple.

Amazing place to stay, 5/5!

This was a beautiful property with wonderful staff, we enjoyed the food, drinks and shows. We only wish we were told before booking about the election weekend dry law, but we still made it work, the law certainly wasn’t the resorts fault. 10/10, highly recommend.

The resort was beautiful and well kept. At no fault of their own the smell of the seaweed was overwhelming while we were there, so that was hard some of the days. We had a swim out seat, which was amazing! The only thing I would say is.... be very cautious if you are wet walking around as the floors are super slippery.

This was our third time there and it was probably our best experience. We enjoyed relaxing, swimming, and the food and drinks.

The resort was more on the smaller side but still had beautiful views. It's a resort more for older adults or couples. I wouldn't recommend this resort if you are below the age of 30 unless you are into more relaxing resorts versus a resort that focuses more on entertainment and party. The food is what carried! Great options. Staff was very friendly and would even remember you by name which is always a great impression. I will say music at the pool side could be better. It was too slow, the guest needed more upbeat music.

The property was beautiful but it was a bit of a hassle getting to two is the main restaurants due to the elevator being down. It is not very accessible in those circumstances. All the Staff are very helpful and gave us as much assistance as possible when needed. Now Leeds talk about the food every thing tasted amazing the only issue was my boyfriend and I ended up getting sick with the runs file half is it trip, we never found it the reason but over all we had an amazing time with all the different activities going on. Be aware they do try to get you to go to their timeshare seminar upon check-in you almost feel pressured to do it but if you don’t stay firm and let them know it ain’t happening

Beautiful resort. Excellent service and staff.

Staff was super friendly. The resort had different events/shows daily for entertainment. The food was very good.

Property was okay a bit run down. Room was beautiful, pool was warm and a bit dirty, not a lot of food options, buffet was terrible, Italian restaurant was delicious, staff was AMAZING, entertainment was not great!

We love everything about this place!
