The staff were very helpful and the hotel was close to the promenade. The hotel itself was decent, the terrace was great BUT the Wi-Fi at this place is absolutely atrocious. It barely works. Kicks you off frequently and was not usable. In 2025, this should not be the case anywhere. So if you want to stay and have no use for Wi-Fi, then it's a great place to stay at. For me, no functioning Wi-Fi is a deal breaker.

Terrible room- tiny … could barely fit myself and luggage in the room. Do not stay here.

Property was disappointing, since the ratings seemed so much better. Staff was helpful but facilities were very average. The room was a little run down and small. The bed was very conformable and liked that the windows faced a courtyard. Also, unlimited coffee and water in lobby were nice perks.

Right next to Promenade des Anglais and the beach 15 min walk into town

Friendly staff, comfortable room and great location. Near both the beach and a tram stop. Breakfast was also included which was great.

Arrived early so kept luggage until check in time of 3pm. Room not big and woukd have preferred walk in shower but told would have to request in advance. Good breakfast and location excellent for tram from airport and town. 5 min walk to prom.

Freindly staff always smiling and willing to help. Room was nice and clean.Terrace was great for a morning coffee. Location was ideal out of the hustle yet easily walkable to restaurants and shops with also great transport links.

A neat and character filled hotel near the Nice Promenade de Anglais. Very clean and a great breakfast was included that fueled us fo the day ahead. The staff were very helpful and the room and bathroom was modern and very functional

We enjoyed the hotel, staff were incredible. Elevator was too small for most people and large luggage.

Hotel Locarno is a perfect spot to enjoy Nice. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is so great. You are less than two blocks from the Promenade and the ocean. The rooms are clean with beautiful balconies. The staff is so pleasant and highly fluent in English. The breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of delicious pastries, meats, coffees, fresh squeezed juices as well as hot items like eggs and pancakes. Parking is tricky so plan ahead. There is a parking deck about 6 blocks away -- Park Palmieri -- that is a good option.

We’ve just had a fabulous 4 day stay at hotel Locarno .. the staff were fantastic .. helpful and friendly .. nothing too much trouble . Breakfast a bargain at 10 euros a person and the free beach towels and umbrellas a real bonus .. great location too with a 5 minute walk to the beach. Thank you for a lovely stay !
