Poole were a lil rude and the place smell a lil In my room and they dogged in my drawers when they cleaned over i would not stay here again

This stay was very relaxing I barely needed to leave the resort because they had almost everything there.

The property is beautiful! I love having our own private beach. The waves are a little rough but if you walk towards the right a bit, you are able to swim with such a gorgeous view in the background. The resort staff are so friendly. The food and drinks at the Mahi Mahi bar are delicious!! We kept coming back to our bartender Wesley…I recommend Passion Mango Madness on the Rocks!! The room was perfect with a small kitchenette, microwave, mini fridge, toaster and sink so you can go to a local supermarket if you’d like and get prepared food to save on eating out. There were a lot of birds and they were a bit annoying since they were pooping all over the outdoor chairs so staff will need to clean down the seating more often but other than that we will definitely be returning to this property. Thank you Hyatt Hacienda Del Mar for a beautiful vacation!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. It was very convenient to have the restaurant/bar right there by the pool and beach for food and drinks at any time. Plenty of parking too. There is plenty of room at the pool and the beach there is beautiful, plenty of games outside too so if you didn't want to venture out of the resort, you didn't need to. The traffic getting here from the airport and San Juan area is rough. It takes about 40 min to an hour, so just be aware of that if you are planning on venturing out to explore the island, which you should! We loved our stay and highly recommend the Hyatt.

The property is pretty nice overall. The staff was excellent. The parking lot needed. A major overhaul was my only complaint.

The property & employees were so kind, & patient. They made everything so much smoother. I loved that we didn’t have to pay for parking, the Mahi Mahi restaurant is a good touch that’s right along the beach. The game room with extra activities was great for adults & kids (corn hole, ping pong, tic tac toe etc). The gym was clean & had good equipment to maintain while your away on vacation. The facility also has dryer & washer for each room which was super helpful with all the wet towels and clothes & provide small detergent for you to use. Overall, thank you, I loved it, and so did my son. We will be back before you know it!

Staff was polite and very attentive. Property was clean and well attended. Second time stayed there in 2 years. Highly recommend if looking for a relaxing place to stay though you do need a car to get around.

Beautiful experience

The resort was beautiful, unfortunately they never cleaned and there were a lot of baby cockroaches in our room

This place is definitely unassuming. As pulled up to the hotel, we initially got a feeling of regret because it looks dated. However, upon entering our room, it has been upgraded beautifully. The suite with the kitchen is spacious and was more than enough accommodate our party of 3. The ocean view was a perfect beginning and ending to each day. The resort can best be described as boring, and I mean that in the best possible way. There’s no nightlife and it’s very quiet. Perfect for our family. We were there for 8 days and the most chaotic were definitely the weekend. It seems as if the number of guests quadrupled. I think this place allows daily use of the amenities through some sort of membership because it was insane during the day and a ghost town at night on the weekend. The only reason I didn’t rate it excellent is because this place is definitely no frills. Your nightly rate pays for the room and pool and that’s it. I didn’t expect all-inclusive, but they could at least do something for the guests. Every employee we encountered was polite, friendly, and helpful. The clientele is very diverse, which you can take to mean whatever you want. Note, the surrounding area is very quiet and you have to drive at least 30 minutes to do stuff. We chose it for that reason. But, if you want to walk everywhere, this isn’t the place for you. Overall, I’d definitely come here again.

Excellent property. Would stay again

It was very clean and spacious even though we had a studio we still fit 3 people and can fit one more if you need to. The workers are very friendly and the workers at the restaurant too. It felt very safe and its not too packed or busy. You will have good seats on the beach and pool. I will recommend it and I will definitely go again!!!

This hotel was amazing! We stayed for two weeks and never had a terrible day. When you drive up, they have security at the front, which monitors who comes and goes. You park your car and when you walk up to your room, you overlook a beautiful rainforest for as far as the eye can see. As you walk through your room to your balcony, you have the view of a junior Olympic pool And the Atlantic Ocean.. If you’re hungry, there is the mahi-mahi restaurant which is basically exclusive to the hotel. There are so many amenities that it is hard to name all of them. From being able to barbecue, shoot a game of billiards, or play air hockey, or working out at the gym, or taking a nap by the pool, or relax by the ocean. Staff is so friendly and eager to help. I highly recommend this hotel. One of the best we’ve stayed at and the beds are so comfortable. We will definitely return.

Beautiful

Wonderful stay. Great property. The room was clean and comfortable with great views of the ocean and surrounding area. The beach is gorgeous and the outdoor property has lots to do, including the large pool. Will definitely return!

Lovely stay. Needs more food options, but the area is gorgeous.
