Took a long while to check in and check out as foreigners. Lots of paperwork and forms, seems like it could be much more streamlined. Would be excellent if the pool were heated year round.

Property is very old and we had bugs in one section of our room. We informed the front desk but not sure they addressed it as we continued to see bugs during our stay.

The staff was amazing! They were accommodating with the language barrier. The room was not like the pictures, there was black mold everywhere, there was mold under the refrigerator too. The walls are paper thin.

This hotel was amazing! I was nervous after booking it as i saw a lot of bad reviews. The rooms were clean, the staff was amazing and the location is perfect! Carlos at the front desk upgraded our room and made check in a breeze. The roof top pool is also amazing. I definitely would recommend this hotel.

Everything was amazing!

For the money this was a decent hotel. A little too far back from the beach, especially for walking back at night. Staff were friendly. The pool area was definitely lacking in ambiance.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I would recommend it again. The only issue we had was with the AC not working for about a day and a half, but they finally resolved it.

I will not be returning to this hotel. This decision is due to an incident of profiling; I prefer not to elaborate further. But just know if you a person of ethnicity you are not treated with respect.

Very clean and in great location. Just 2 blocks from the beach. Friendly staff and great breakfast. Definitely wet I’ll stay here again.

Horrible experience! Check-in Experience: was poor, we arrived early and the front desk agent did not check us in, he asked to come back after 3pm. When we came back from a tour around 5pm, the new agent was upset because we did not check in before. Air Conditioning Issues: The next day, the air conditioning in our room was not working. After calling the front desk, we were informed that the issue was with a central unit serving the entire hotel, and they could not offer us a solution. We were told “we all needed to share the heat” and wait. The next day when I asked for an update, we were simply told to wait again, which was unacceptable. After we noticed the air conditioning seemed to work at night but failed during the day. The nights were extremely cold in our room. Unprofessional Behavior by Manager: On Sunday morning, my friend and I were returning to the hotel after Carnaval, and the manager, Fernando, screamed at me. I did not understand he was addressing me, and he then proceeded to whistle at us in a manner that was both disrespectful and degrading. This is absolutely not an acceptable way to treat any guest. His behavior was unprofessional and completely inappropriate. The location was excellent.

Great staff, comfortable room.

The experience was so comfortable. Costumer service fast and professional. Rooms conditions working properly. Location 10/10 and the buffet restaurant with a quality food excellent. Very recomendable to stay in Rio.

Este hotel necessita de obras urgente, porque para um hotel de 4 estrelas ele está muito distante desta pontuação e para área onde está localizado justo na Avenida Princesa Isabel que faz parte da entrada e do cartão postal de Copacabana é muito pobre …😳😳😳😳😳

Amazing buffet and service

I was checking in and my friend, who was helping me with my lugagge and needed to change for her flight that was leaving two hours after I checked in, was coming with me to the room and the front desk told me she could not come up, that I could not have guests. I have traveled to 40 countries and never have been told that I cant have a guest in my room for two hours! When I asked for my manager, they called someone and then said they will make the exception, but very weird and unprofessional. Then, decided to go for a farewell drink to the rooftop and when asked the front desk again to keep my friend lugagge cause she was leaving, they offered to leave it by the door; cero friendliness and service!

El check in fue lento e ineficiente. No colocaron la tercer cama hasta las 21hs. A pesar de reclamar 2 veces. Pero luego el servicio mejoró mucho. Buen desayuno y personal muy amable

Old hotel. The rooms don’t seem to have been renovated in decades. But it’s clean and service is good. Nice rooftop with pool. Buffet breakfast was good.

Very nice hotel , pool view in the roof top and very clean and excellent customer services

Very good but a bit aged. The delight was a hotel fridge that actually did the job. The only downside really was the overwhelming security presence - even to the point of guarding the yoghurt at breakfast.
