This property was nice. Needs a significant facelift. Property was clean, but out dated. Breakfast buffet was great, as was Italian restaurant. Gym needs complete redo, pools need cosmetic update. Good location and close to downtown and incredible hike.

Spacious room in a good location. Not far from marina and train station. Good breakfast. Good pool facilities both indoor and outdoor. Disappointed that you couldnt borrow a wine glass for room unless arranged with room service for €5.

This is a property that is spread out. Very confusing to get to the room. Keys didn’t work when we arrived at room. Security let us in - I guess we looked tired and, to get to reception, it was a long hallway and a set of stairs. Then another hallway and two sets of stairs. We then walked the length of a hallways and down a long set of stairs.

Room ok, plenty of staff around offering assistance unless you required it, then none to be seen. Needs a bit of TLC. Minimal support for those with mobility issues, sun loungers blocking ramps, scaffolding from workmen blocking ramps. Bar drinks extortionately overpriced.

The breakfast was outstanding, so much variety and the quality of the food was equally amazing. Very much enjoyed the pool especially the indoor one as that is hard to find in Portugal. The staff were very attentive.

Navigating premises was so difficult I got lost, which has never happened to me before. Improper or non existent signage and several sets of stairs which required me to have staff handle my luggage which I rarely reqiired.

Great hotel

Clean room, comfortable bed but all four pillows were very thick and over stuffed. The temperature of the room was adequate however the room AC did not work properly. The bathroom was very nice with a great bathtub/shower (rain shower head and also a shower wand). The breakfast buffet was simply the best free buffet I have ever encountered. Outstanding choice of everything you would want for breakfast and brunch. The outdoor pool area requires serious updating! A very tired wooden deck is over the top of the original pool deck. The pool deck is starting to sag/breakdown with loose boards around the pool surround. The pool is missing tiles from the bottom ( watch your toes ). The price was very faire for the room, staff are outstanding, very helpful and friendly.

The room was fantastic but the staff has to be more friendly I think bevae of my color skin I was treaded a bit differently with that said I hardly Tried the amenities that was provided because it was made seem as if I wasn’t a guest just bothering people there and that not fair

Our second time staying in this hotel. The staff are all amazing right from the check-in people to the concierge and bartenders. This hotel probably has the best buffet breakfast I have ever had in my life. Highly recommend this location.

Lovely staff, offered to take our bags to the room, always polite and helpful. Had a Superior Twin room with balcony overlooking the gardens, table and chairs on balcony. Nice and peaceful and quiet outlook. Pool area was nice, even had a dip though it was the end of February so water was a bit cold. There was a man with a bird of prey round the pool to chase the seagulls away as they had a tendancy to land in the pool! Breakfast was exceptional, buffet style, cooked breakfast, continental meats and cheeses, huge selection of fresh bread, pastries, fresh prepared fruit and yoghurts, cereals, fresh juices, coffee and tea and even prosecco! In a great location with walking distance to supermarket, Lagos town and the beaches. Would definitely stay again.
