Quaint hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The rooftop restaurant was amazing!

We stayed at the Athenian Callirhoe twice for 2 nights each time. The first 2 nights we were blown away by our room. It had a huge balcony and a really comfortable bed. The second time we stayed, our room was even better, with two balconies and a much bigger room than the first. The restaurant (fine dining) was excellent with a wonderful view of the Acropolis. Breakfast was excellent. Everything we had time to visit was within walking distance. Pick-up service at the airport was also a wonderful touch...they truly made you feel important and welcome.

We stayed twice at the Athenian Callirhoe and both times were spectacular. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is absolutely wonderful with wonderful views of the Acropolis. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The property was clean and beds were comfy. They accommodated holding our luggage which was important to us. The location worked well for us. The cleaning staff is very noisy in the hall early in the morning. The room flooded with light, no black out curtains. Sleeping in was not an option. The breakfast was subpar IMO.

The hotel is located in a very safe area. Is top of the line. The staff were super courteous and friendly, they went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We traveled with a toddler, and two teenagers. The front desk helped us to find our way to the places that we wanted to visit; they even helped us to find the stores to buy the things we needed. Whenever we visit Athens again I would definitely book this Athenian Callirhoe Hotel again. I am very much pleased and grateful with the way they welcomed us. Thanks!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is walking distance to ancient sites.

The property is within bus or taxi for the main attractions and a bus that can get on/ off passes (highly recommend) The comp, Breakfast well…..lacks in heat and taste. If you are looking for something quick to hold you over till lunch time than, you should be ok. Rooms are nice a bit dated but clean, bed are your typical hotel firm mattress. Rooms are clean. Noise, if you’re a light sleeper forget about it because it’s in a busy area. Overall it’s a 4/5 I would stay again if needed.

Despite being busy with people checking in & out & dropping off bags, the desk people were very helpful & friendly. They even let us check into one room super early so we had a place to rest and drop off our stuff. They were also very helpful with directions and bus reservations.

I had an amazing stay here for my first Athens trip. Only complaint I’d have would be that the hotel is located right on major road and there’s noise at all hours of night, cars and motorcycles and etc. being ear plugs if you are a light sleeper Wish hotel had noise dampening curtains or shutters to keep the noise out. Otherwise, staff is kind and attentive, breakfast is excellent and walkable location to all the must see sites makes this hotel 5 stars!!
