Our stay at Las Brisas Huatulco was a huge letdown. While the views and grounds are naturally beautiful, everything else about the experience was frustrating and disappointing. The most shocking issue: the roof in our room was leaking during rain—water actually dripped onto the floor and our belongings. When we reported it, there was little urgency or concern from staff, and no offer to move us to a dry room. On top of that, we were told we couldn’t eat at the buffet unless we were completely dry. We also went to our first dinner in the same buffet, and no one had advised of the dress code for the men, a red shirt was provided during our 30 min dinner. The rooms are severely outdated, the air conditioning barely works, and the bathrooms are dark and uncomfortable. Furniture was old, some pieces broken, and the overall feeling was more like a neglected motel than a resort. We had a lizard in our room and it stayed there our whole stay. The cart took forever to pick us up, and we had to call multiple times to remind them to pick us up. Food throughout the resort was subpar at best—bland, cold, and often repetitive. Service at the pools was disorganized with no food menus and very weak drinks. We really wanted to love this place, but there were too many issues, and the lack of proper maintenance and hospitality ruined what should have been a relaxing vacation. We won’t be returning and would not recommend Las Brisas to anyone

We had a fabulous vacation at this resort. The beaches are beautiful. The resort is older but very well cared for and the rooms are clean. The landscape is lush! Highly recommend the spa. We did not like breakfast buffet at Mexican restaurant, but indoor buffet was fresh and delicious. Moroccan restaurant and the Grill were our favorite meals. The staff at the hotel are 5 star! They are always smiling and ready to serve you. Please remember to tip these wonderful hard workers. A little goes a long way down there. Huatulco is nothing like Cabo or Yucatan. I hope it stays this way.

While I wish I could say we enjoyed our stay at Las Brisas, the experience fell short of expectations. The two positives worth mentioning are the stunning view and the exceptional staff—everyone was wonderful except for the maintenance technician. Unfortunately, there were several significant issues that significantly impacted our stay and made it less than enjoyable, and for that reason, we cannot recommend this property and will not be returning. The rooms and resort are extremely outdated. In our first room, the air conditioning barely worked, and most of the bedroom furniture was broken or in poor condition. The restrooms were dark and uninviting. I felt uncomfortable enough that I left the light on overnight in case we needed to use it during the night. The food was underwhelming. Whether at the buffet or the sit-down reservation restaurants, the quality was consistently poor—though we did come across a decent dish or two here and there. Poolside service was lacking. There was no menu available to order food, and the drinks were mediocre at best.

Easy don’t go stay here !! Let’s start with the food it was very bland no seasoning. I wished they would have had more food that showed the Oaxaca culture ! The rooms were old need to be renovated asap there were bugs everywhere had to check my sets before going to bed ! Not a fan of the golf carts to get around the resort made us wait 15 min at some time ! The workers were very nice I will say helpful people and very friendly. But the hotel it’s self I will not be going back . I will say this resort has a lot of things they need to work on

We enjoyed our stay as a family. Favorite part was the beach and views. Staff was very friendly and enjoyed our service. Room was clean we had a small water leak inside the room but was minimal. It rained buckets during the night so I am guessig it was from the room above patio. We would go back to this resort for sure. Thing to improve maybe more food options. Overall good

All inclusive with nice beaches. Two issues to consider: getting across the hotel usually requires a trolley pick-up throughout. The trolleys are always full and waiting times can be up to 15 minutes. Second, all inclusive is anything you want, well not her. Dinners were often uncomfortable when ordering was limited ( e.g. only allowed to order one appetizer). This place, while nice, it not for me.

My fiancé and I stayed for a weekend getaway and had a mixed experience. A five-star hotel this is not; it is a decent 3-star budget resort. Our main travel goals are relaxation and great food. The pools did not look like the photos and were filled with people as they are very small. The ocean was dirty due to the rain, but the staff did a great job keeping the property clean. There is no food service at the beach and limited drink service. There wasn’t much to do from there. The gym looked nice and i actually had fun getting toted around in the carts. Food was average- not bad, not great. The buffet is small and there was only one restaurant available for dinner for our two-night stay. That’s a policy- no restaurant experience for one night stay, 1 restaurant meal for a two night stay, etc. That’s become standard across budget resorts, which is disappointing. Room service is not included. On the plus side, we recommend El Mexicano for breakfast buffet- the omelette station also includes hand-made tortillas and tacos.

Didn’t like the resort. There wasn't good entertainment and some staff members were rude. The resort is humongous and it’s not walkable anywhere. You have to ride in carts to go everywhere. The food wasn’t great in every restaurant and the variety was extremely limited. I regret not booking elsewhere.

Vegetarian food was on point. The Chef's catered to our lacto vegetarian diet. The shuttle drivers were eager to always help. Everyone seemed happy. We loved our time!

We had a great time and would love to return! We played pickleball every day (for three weeks) and loved snorkelling at the hotel beach. Breakfast at the Mexican Restaurant was fabulous with made to order omelettes made daily, scenic ocean views, and an incredible spread of food to satisfy every appetite. The food was very good at every restaurant (for an all inclusive) - we wished the main buffet restaurant offered some outdoor seating as we would have greatly enjoyed that. Our room was a bit dark and dingy and could definitely use renovations but our bed was comfy and the shower was hot with great water pressure - we only went to the room to sleep so we don’t put much emphasis on it, but if it’s important to you, it might disappoint. Service was great - we love Huatulco!

We really enjoyed our stay at Las Brisas. We stayed in the Mar section. We had asked for a king suite and a two queen suite side by side on the top floor, and they gave us our exact request. The rooms were large with nice patios and a beautiful view of the ocean which was great for watching the sunrise. We upgraded and had access to the Las Brisas beach club, which I highly recommend. The ladies that served us in the beach club were so lovely! This resort was really beautiful, with lots of amenities.

Just returned from a short 7 day stay and loved the service and the beauty of the area. The beach area is beautiful and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the room was large and clean. The staff were helpful and very friendly and kind. Unfortunately we were not aware it is almost completely unwalkable. The shuttle service was wonderful and we were picked up quickly with just a call from our rooms or a mention to staff. The food was poor. The buffet catered to the Mexican cuisine and very little else. We only were able to access 3 restaurants while there and we only ate half of our meals as they were very bland. Extremely disappointing as resort life is a lot about the food! I will not be returning but it is a budget friendly, beautiful spot.

As much as I don't want to post a good review, as I would like to not have more tourists come to this location. Had the chance to go off season and experience true Mexican culture without the flood of ignorant north american tourists(US). And what an amazing experience and culture, truly wonderful. Resort and staff were always hospitable and respectful to the English speakers. Hot. It was hot and day time activities need to be properly planned due to the heat.
