Great Hotel and close to everything. The staff is top notch and very helpful with all of your needs. The breakfast in the morning is the best in the city. I highly recommend this place.

The Staff at front desk were very helpful with all of your needs. Some of the best service I have ever had. The Breakfast at the Hotel is second to none! Highly Recommend to everyone visiting Verona!

One night stay in early June 2025. The Hotel is perfectly located. We arrived to Verona by train and we arrived to the hotel very easily. This hotel has two negative things. The first one is the bathroom. It is smallish but the real problem is the shower, which has no door or curtain and turns into a swamp after one use. I was very disgusting. Then the second issue, which to me is a deal breaker is the staff. The staff at the front desk are the complete opposite of helpful. The elevator broke down for a while and a person in a wheelchair was stuck in the first floor landing waiting while someone was trying to fix the elevator, during all this the two receptionists were completely oblivious at the front desk laughing and joking. I asked the lady at the front desk where the closest office to get a fiscal code number was located and she argued with me that tourist cannot get a code and never provided an answer. The front desk staff were simply not nice. The hotel was fully booked because the location is just too good. Need to improve in a few areas

Great location helpful friendly staff

We found the hotel to be in an excellent handy location. Shops and restaurants are at your door. Everything was perfect. Just keep in mind that the SPA is not included

Great little hotel, room quite small facing inner small space, very reasonable and good breakfast! A bit warm, and air not turned in yet, but a great value.

The staff were so helpful with any questions we had. I found my room a bit hot as the air-con wasn’t on yet but within 5 mins a fan was brought to my room. The room, along with everywhere else was very clean, the room was just like the photos and was lovely. The breakfast was really good with lots of choices. It’s a great location for everything and outside of the ZTL zone . I would definitely recommend staying here and would stay again

A fifteen-minute walk to the train station and bus depot. The hotel is in the center and near one of the major attractions, the Coliseum.

Super well located, attentive front desk, decent breakfast, clean rooms. However, the Wi-Fi in my room didn't work much past the door to the room! Also, a bathroom should have an exhaust fan. Not excited to have an odour from the previous guest.

The hotel is in a great location, 5 minute walk to Arena,15 min walk to bus/train station. Lovely buffet breakfast. Friendly staff.

I had a lovely stay at the Mastino. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring the area, a minute from Piazza Bra/ the Arena. Breakfast had a great selection. Overall, a good experience and a solid choice for a stay in Verona.

The front desk was super nice! It was a great area and a walkable distance to everything. They have an amazing spa. The breakfast was delicious and they had a lot of options

Perfect location,clean,spacious rooms. Extra equipment would be an advantage etc kettle,tea bags,coffee… Overall really good!

A great location to explore Verona from. Site seeing, going to the Opera or just shopping, it is the heart of everything. A nice breakfasting the morning set us up for our return to the Lake. If staying in Verona again I would look at booking again.

Be aware and make sure you check the rooms are provided as booked. Receptionists kept arguing saying we were provided the standard room as booked but they placed us in a economy room. Hotel is in a great location, house-keeping team are excellent in keeping the rooms spotless and breakfast is decent. Receptionists are rude, in particular Valentina.

The hotel does not have a bar or shuttle service to the airport (which Expedia lists). Coffee/Tea making should be available in the room. Cannot fault location for Verona and transport links.
