This was an amazing resort… Rooms were clean whelm maintained, as well as the rest of the property. Food options at the resort were not five star but very very good. Drinks were on the pricey side, however, you expect that while traveling abroad. Would have been nice to know there was construction going on that limited some of the access around the resort… But it did not affect our stay. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great vacation in Portugal

We completed the Fisherman’s Trail and wanted to find a nice place to chill and relax for a few days before heading to Germany for a family wedding. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was super friendly and helpful, the pool area was so relaxing with great views. We were able to easily get a boat to the Benigal caves. The beach was close and the ocean was amazing. We enjoyed the shopping, the Black and White party to celebrate the beginning of summer. We will definitely be back and hopefully bring more of our family to join us! Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing break! <3 <3 <3

Amazing view and great potential, unfortunately there was a storm during the winter that washed out a large portion of the grassy area and blocked the walking track along the cliff. There was construction noise and an excavator operating during the day next to the pool area to repair the land slide and there was a lot of noise transfer through the floors above caused by continuous shifting of furniture. The night manager was very abrupt on the one occasion we had to deal with him and this interaction had the possibility of spoiling our whole stay. Thankfully another member of staff was quite helpful

Location was great and close to all the bars restaurants and shops Cleanliness was great but had ants inside the balcony door to outside on the veranda Breakfast was excellent and a great choice of foods

The property is beautiful overall with gorgeous views and friendly staff! There is construction that ruins the views right now. We booked a deluxe ocean view room and the construction was right in front of us so that was a bit disappointing. But overall things were lovely! The breakfast room is quite hard to get an outside table (which have the nice views!) And if you want to use the sauna you need to pre book.

The most incredible view of anywhere we've ever stayed! Breathtaking! Walkable to many beautiful spots. My only complaint would be the pictures showed a beach down below and there wasn't a beach when we got there

Advertised as having a private beach but there is no access to the beach. I thought it was storm damage but I was told there was never a private beach with assess. Otherwise beautiful hotel. And the pool was delightful but no useable beach,

Wonderful Breakfast!!

I would say this is a 4 star hotel at best. We definitely expected more from this hotel. The issues in isolation aren’t too bad, but combined, it has left us disappointed: * brought to our room 20 minutes after check in because it wasn’t ready. * The shower was clogged. They did address this immediately when we requested maintenance * One of the outlets beside the bed did not work. They addressed this immediately upon us bringing it up. * no fresh water available in our room when we arrived. * Pool deck is not in order - several slats should be replaced & majority of the loungers are sunken in. * Construction at the hotel that we did not know about upon booking. This didn’t impact us but it is worth noting. * Expedia listing is slightly deceiving as it mentions white sand beach. you can’t access this beach from the hotel. * Silly complaint but we are here on our honeymoon and saw other reviews were welcomed with a gift - we did not get this. Again, not huge deals in isolation but combined, this does not define a 5 star hotel. What’s good: * the location - 4.5/5, stunning views. * The breakfast is included - 5/5 - tons of options and open at reasonable times. * one gentleman at the pool - excellent customer service. Upon checkout we expressed our concerns and the response was “how would you like to pay” lol

The resort has an amazing view, the breakfast buffet was delicious and had a wide variety of food items. The hotel felt very clean and had a few restaurants onsite to chose from. I recommend booking a room with sea view to really enjoy this resort, otherwise the experience is not the same. The kids club on site was great and Ms. Sayury was very creative, welcoming and sweet with our boys ages 2 and 5. There’s a large green area with a playground that our kids really enjoyed. The resort is also a 10 min walk to town and there are numerous beaches and caves nearby to visit. The spa was wonderful. Overall, I highly recommend Tivoli for families.

Rooms, location, pool, food, service, all exceptional.

Amazing staff.

We stayed here for a couple of days towards the end of our long honeymoon when we visited the Algarves. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful upon our arrival, and Jorge did a wonderful job of explaining the amenities while helping get our bags to our room. He even recommended a restaurant within walking distance and made us a reservation (and it was a really great local spot)! The view from the restaurant/breakfast area is beautiful, and has outdoor seating available. The breakfast has an excellent spread with a variety of hot and cold food items and an omelette bar. The assortment of fresh fruits, breads, and deli meats surpassed what I've seen at most European hotels. The room was well furnished and had a very nice eastward facing patio and seating area. We also arrived to a "thank you" note and a wonderful welcome gift that was meant to celebrate our honeymoon stay at the hotel. Even the fitness room impressed me. This was the first hotel on our trip that had much more than a bench and dumbbells. Still not spectacular, but a massive upgrade from our other stays throughout the trip. All in all, my wife and I loved the hotel and the location so much that we kept talking about wanting to stay longer. I guess we'll just need to plan a return trip!

The breakfast was lovely.

From the friendly staff, the amenities, the views, and the breakfast was beyond my expectations. Close enough to town to walk to shops and various delicious restaurants. Everything was superb. The only thing disappointing was we were not able to walk down to the beach. This was not the resort’s fault due to weather and erosion damage they were repairing to keep everyone safe. Will definitely be going back.
