Great for a stopover but a drive to nice restaurants etc

This motel style hotel was convenient but the room was very small, barely space to move around the beds. Twin bed differed greatly. One was fairly comfortable but the second was lumpy and every spring could be felt. Most concerning was the bath/shower. It was very difficult to climb in for us in our 70s. There was no non-slip mat or safety handles and the surface was very, very slippery.

Hot even with ac, dripping in room from ac, uncomfortable hard bed.

We wanted an easy overnight experience. surprisingly good dinner and breakfast

Clean room, helpful staff, dog friendly, good value and not far off the motorway.

Clean room with everything you needed

The hotel was very easy to find and on arrival the receptionist was very helpful. Our room was on the first floor and provided an excellent view of our car in their secure car park. We enjoyed an excellent evening meal and breakfast in the morning. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if we are in the Lyon area.

Good service, nice welcome, better than recent experiences with a Campanile. Room good size and comfortable. Only issue, coffee machine broke down at breakfast!

This is a convenient hotel when travelling for business as it has everything you need. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Air con in the room did not work, it was stifling. But, other than that, it was basic, had what you needed and did the job.

Bed sheets were not clean and I found long dark hairs under one of the pillows. Stayed for 3 nights and these were not changed. The air con didn't work. Location is in the middle of an industrial estate.

I love the campanile chain the hotels are always clean comfortable and the price is brilliant ! The breakfast was lovely but only cold buffet, last nights dinnner was an interesting concoction, tasty but overpriced for me. I will always use these hotels I always feel safe as a single female traveller

Staff and manager very helpful and considerate during our 2 day stay. Make sure if arriving after 11 p.m. to contact Hotel direct as entry is via automated system.

I used this hotel as a night stop enroute to Spain. For this purpose this hotel is perfectly adequate being close to the main route through Lyon. However, no trip advisor reports pointed out that the hotel is on an industrial park with a major chemical works less than half a mile away. The air was not fresh to say the least! Staff were very pleasant and the facilities basic but clean and comfortable. Food adequate if not good for the price. If you wish to arrive after dark and depart before dawn you may not know the difference. If you want a walk after breakfast or intend to hang around for some time and take in a bit of Lyon, I would strongly suggest looking for accomodation elsewhere.

On arrival the hotel reception was unmanned and the door was locked. The 24 hour booking in machine was not in service and the note on the door confirmed that the reception should have been open from 7am to 11pm that day. We arrived around 3.30pm and had already booked and paid for a room. After constant ringing of the doorbell to the reception we decided to ring the "emergency number" as we needed access our our room. This was of course a French mobile number which was answered by the person who no doubt should have been sat on reception but instead was in her living quarters. We booked in and got access to our room. Following that all was OK. We werent too happy about the location as we found ourselves next to the local chemical works and the notices in the streets around were all indicating which way to run if there was an alarm at the works! Room and hotel were as expected but the restaurant had a no choice 3 course standard menu for the Saturday night we stayed - unless of course you were French, when we noticed another couple were offered a variation to the menu on their request, which we didnt think was very fair! All in all a disappointing experience with Campanile.

Easy access to the auto route. Great stay. I use a wheechair.

Obviously a bit out of town but the staff organized taxi into town for us. Staff really helpful. We didn't eat here,ate in town,but those that did seemed to be enjoying it. Really nice stop over.

Warm & comfortable. We had a triple room &it was a bit squashy. Meal at dinner was good.

I arrived late in the evening and was given a warm welcome by name as I arrived. Service in the restaurant was friendly and fast.
