The Hotel itself was easy to find with good parking on site (£8). The staff were friendly, the room was clean. The shower was very good, the bar staff also friendly. We had breakfast very good value at £12/head. Lovely scrambled eggs

Great location

We stayed at this hotel as a stopover on our trip to the French Alps. The reception staff was kind and welcoming, which made us feel comfortable right away. There were some police fences blocking the road to the hotel, which made reaching the parking area a bit challenging, but this was, of course, not the hotel's fault. Our room was a little small but very clean, well-organized, and comfortable. The overall hotel décor is modern, charming, and thoughtfully designed, creating a pleasant atmosphere.

Nice welcome by staff, easy parking. Big room but couchbed was not straight so slept bad. Suppose is not in all the rooms. Main bed is good. Overall ok for a one night stay.

Not impressed by the fact that i mentionned the hair drier didnt work and we came bk the following week( same bedroom) and asir drier still not working. Breakfast not great: awful omlette! Friendly staff!

Basic but clean and comfortable

We stayed one night there. The staff was good and the room was clean. The hairdryer is very outdated though.

Very friendly

Kyriad Voiron is far from brand new, but it is well situated in the centre of Voiron and OK for staying a night. The car park in the back is convenient. Rooms are fairly small, but functional and clean. The TV-screen is of a good size. Maintenance/Quality check could be better: First room had only one bath-towel and then we noticed a strong smell of sewage. We were quickly given another room. Here the sliding bathroom/wardrobe doors were damaged and tended to get stuck, and one bathroom light was not working.

The only issue was the room temperature control - was not very effective - too hot.

One night stop, easy to find, room quiet

Voiron was just a quick stopping point for us, where we needed a cheap but cheerful well-located hotel with access to good food. The Kyriad ticked all of these boxes. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, and booked us a local restaurant serving local cuisine which turned out to be superb - in fact, they were completely full and turning other customers away. The room and general facilities were pretty much what you would expect from a normal 3-star hotel such as an IBIS. Bed was comfortable, bathroom clean, fixtures and fittings all absolutely fine. Oh, and the room had tea/coffee making facilities which is a rarity in France in our experience.

It was disappointing that the attached restaurant was not open on Saturday evening. Otherwise nothing could be faulted.

The hotel is central, close to bars and brasseries, with great parking facilities but it is looking tired and lacks any real draw. The rooms are small and the aircon ineffective, the restaurant was closed and breakfast was a buffet left out for customers to hep themselves. There are places with more personality so why stay here?
