Nice property with bad service

We stayed two nights at this hotel. The overall atmosphere was pleasant, however, the property is slightly rundown, which puts into question the value for money. The staff was extremely helpful.

I like the place and all the amenities. I asked for a technician for the tv and my iwatch disappeared from the room. I am still don’t find it. The only person different that entered to the room was him.

Excellent choice again —. Great with family and kids — to enjoy …… quality family time .. I had my oldest son with his family - all felt safe and great facility for family ….

Great place to stay. - my first stay was in 2009 or 2010. …..i must admit Cartagena has many options - this year was first stay in quite a few years — returning again at the end of June - bringing oldest son with his kids — 3 years ago we stayed at other hotel in the boquilla neighborhood…. But I know they will enjoy — Las Americas …..

It's an aged property but safe and well worth the price. Staff is great and they have a working level of English as well.

I love this hotel and return quite often as it is great for children.

We’ve stayed at several hotels in Cartagena. But, this has been one of the better ones. We will return next year. The area. The staff. The property. The AC in our room!!!! Everything was amazing. Can’t wait to go back!!!

The hotel was very run down. But it was safe and peaceful. Away from the nasty street vendors that attacked me, tried to trick me and are always changing the price. The food was very disappointing, the hotel tries to sell American food and its very bad. They should concentrate on improving the food. Also when you order food expect to wait more than an hour! Finally, my suggestion is that they also add some music to the property, maybe some outdoor speakers for a tropical atmosphere.

Best option Great food Safe Huge beach Multiple pools Spa

This hotel had absolutely everything we could have needed! Our two toddlers loved the soccer field, mini putt, water slide, and pools. The breakfast buffet was delicious, varied and plentiful. The other restaurants were also great, especially Bijao for seafood dinner and Fogon for a great grilled lunch. The drinks were delicious and refreshing. The beach was great - the sand is darker than the Caribbean but is fine and great to relax and play in. The water was warm and the waves were great for our kids! The hotel was safe, the staff were fantastic and the facilities were clean and well maintained. It’s also a 10mins drive from the old city and 15mins from the port for any boat tours - you can request an uber or take a taxi parked in front of the hotel. We had an unforgettable stay and we can’t wait to come back!
