Nice staff, great location in centre and 5mins from station. Comfortable beds.

Great location and superb breakfast. Close to amenities, bus stops etc. The room was pleasant and quiet. No kettle in room but plenty of cafés nearby. Would definitely stay again

Great place to stay - just didn’t hit the mark for 5* . However the staff were amazing, and some parts of the venue were gorgeous. Shower was v good! Very comfy bed. Just the size of bed, some broken tiles, let it down a fraction but either way great location and would stay again.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was cleaned each day and the suite was very nice.

We had a twin room and a double. They were the same price but the twin room far exceeded the double in terms of decor, space, bathroom facilities, positioning. It looked tired and dark in comparison

Very friendly and helpful reception. Room was a good size for the price, tea/coffee provided. Didn’t have the breakfast so can’t comment. Very close to Dean Street Multi Storey car park. Will definitely stay again.

Staff were very nice, room was lovely, the bed so comfy, great choice of breakfast, will definitely go there again.

The room itself was very clean and tidy. Beautiful decor. I did let the hotel know I would be arriving from the airport with luggage and I was given a room that involved going up and down stairs with no lift access which at midnight after a long day of travelling was not ideal. The shampoo was very watered down and not usable. There’s also very little sound proofing within the rooms as I was kept up most of the night just from movement around my room. The hotel itself and the staff are very nice, bottled water in the room is a nice touch.

Great value city centre hotel. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms and a great location -loads of shops, bars, cafes & restaurants nearby, and just five minutes down to the Quayside.

Convenient location and spacious rooms with plenty of storage. Charlie was very courteous and helpful in helping with a room change request! The vertical layout of the stairs/lift/rooms can be challenging for some guests but otherwise would stay again.

Prime location, great/clean rooms, comfortable beds. Friendly, helpful staff. The only surprise was the stairs to the room after we got off the elevator. If you have large/heavy luggage, and depending where your room is located, be prepared to hull your luggage. Also there are stairs within the unit (bedroom on lower level/bath on upper). Personally I liked this separation, but if you have mobility issues, let the staff know prior to booking your room. I would stay here again.

This is a great place for exploring Newcastle, very central , perfect amenities nearby and the heart of the city all in walking distance. Breakfast is spectacular; if you’re lucky, Maria will be on duty and not only take your order without rushing you but also look after you in a professional and warm manner. Should you happen to travel with your four legged friend , they will be made welcome,too. 🐶

An absolutely beautiful hotel! It's rare to find such a high quality establishment that's so friendly and welcoming. We particularly loved the comfy bed and excellent breakfast. The location is perfect, central yet quiet.

Value for money was excellent. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was superb. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will 100% stay again if the occasion arises. To split hairs (what's the point of a review otherwise?!) some of the furniture was a bit tired and worn, the bathroom was huge but with odd layout meaning the toilet was up against the basin for some reason, and the towel rail was leaking on the floor. It should also be noted that due to it's excellent city centre location the nightlife can be heard until the early hours at the weekend. None of this detracted from what was an excellent hotel though.
