Staff were very friendly, great room and great location

Great property within 10 minutes’ walk of Cardiff Bay attractions. Check in not until 3pm and free parking available up until 2pm day of checkout. Around 40 minutes’ walk from city centre, or £10 in an uber.

Well located for the bay, good breakfast, easy parking. However, the lift was broken and we were in the 4th floor, no help in carrying luggage up, our room didn't have towels, reception didn't answer phone so had to walk back down to request towels. Towels didn't turn up until 10pm that night. Not sure if they were short staffed, but not the best service!

Everything was good

Room was clean staff in the bar not sure on what to do about drinks only one lift working all the time we was there and that lift went down a few times not well maintained

Upon arrival plenty of car parking spaces to choose from, although check in was busy staff made the process quick and easy. Our room was very clean with a decent sized comfy bed, air con and a bath. Hotel is 10 min walk from the Wales Millenium centre and all the food outlets in the bay. Would stay here again.

Good location with free parking

Second stay at this hotel, from the polite welcome, to the large clean room, and just a short stroll to Cardiff Bay, and all that has to offer, we even walked into city centre, which only took 39 minutes.

A bit chaotic at check in, 2 fire alarm evacuations were not well supervised, then the room keys don’t work and then the lifts don’t work. Breakfast expensive at £18 . Rooms clean and AC works well, a bit industrial around the area

Plenty of parking spaces. Foyer is very nice and welcoming. Room is spacious. It has air con which is not as efficient as I’d hoped but the room wasn’t hot, although we were there during a heat wave. Hotel is clean. Easy check in/out. Remember to put your number plate onto tablet when you check in.

The staff were brilliant, the room spacious and we reall enjoyed our stay. Very convenient for Millennium centre and Cardiff centre. Unfortunately our dinners in the restaurant were tasteless. It was warm and there is no fridge in the room . I must have for 4 star hotel.. A couple of improvements a great hotel.

We had to go to the front desk two times before our room door would open. That took an extra 30 minutes and lots of walking back and forth, as they did not seem to believe us that the card key was not working at first. Finally we got in the room. The room was pretty nice, but no refrigerator. For the price we paid, I thought that would be included, so was disappointed. ALSO - we had booked this hotel due to the laundry room being available as we were on a long trip. We were NOT able to use the laundry facilities because we did not have CASH. The front desk sent me on a mile walk to the nearest ATM - which would be fine if had been functional. There were cobwebs and the lights were out so it clearly was not working. I walked back and asked the front desk staff if they would please charge my room credit card for the cost of the laundry - and they refused. We left the next morning with a suitcase full of dirty laundry and were very disappointed in the dear price we paid to stay there.

Only one lift is working. The ice vending machine is nowhere to be found

The room was spotless and was spacious. Also the free parking was a huge bonus

I recently stayed at this hotel for two nights with my daughter. Aside from the smooth late check-in past midnight, our experience was extremely disappointing, and the property fell far short of acceptable hospitality standards. The hotel is severely outdated, both in style and in the condition of its furnishings. The carpet in our room was worn and noticeably unclean. In the bathroom, basic toiletries were almost non-existent only soap was provided, with no toothbrush or mini toothpaste available. Worse still, there was a persistent smell of urine in the bathroom, raising serious concerns regarding hygiene and thorough cleaning protocols. The in-room amenities were equally frustrating. Despite having a kettle with tea and coffee facilities, basic necessities like bath towels were missing. The room only had two face towels, accompanied by a note instructing guests to call reception for bath towels or robes. However, reception never answered any of our calls. The cleanliness issues extend beyond the guest rooms. The seating in the main reception area was heavily stained and visibly dirty. The only reason we completed our two-night stay was that the booking was non-refundable and paid for in advance; otherwise, we would have left immediately. Given the poor state of maintenance, lack of responsiveness, and unhygienic conditions, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone and would advise travelers to look elsewhere.
