Lovely room, great bar and restaurant in a perfect location in Cardiff city centre. Friendly and professional staff.

Nice hotel , with great facilities including the indoor pool and spa area , as well as a bath and shower in our room . The staff in the restaurant at breakfast were very efficient and hospitable, a credit to your hotel .

No heating working in the room, despite temperature being 4 degrees

Room was spotless,staff in restaurant and food was excellent.the stay was made fabulous by the lovely warm pool and jacuzzi.

Amazing stay, would highly recommend

Staff were lovely, room was nice, not very comfy bed, had a poor sleep, could hear the traffic clearly from the room, and could hear a fan coming from outside, that was going off all night. Also heard scratching sounds like there was a mouse in the room.

The room was clean and comfortable , as was the bed. The food was very good indeed. Staff on the whole were friendly and helpful. The pool was lovely. We did feel it was overpriced and were given misleading information on the cost of parking (exorbitantly expensive) and also a promised discount for not having the room made up that was less than we had understood when we registered. We found loud disco-type muzak booming in the dining room early Sunday morning less than relaxing. Overall it was good and in a central location but it did seem overpriced.

Very expensive one-night stay for a concert at the utilita arena, and when we got back after the concert we discovered our room was opposite a nightclub and above an area of the hotel where an event with loud music was also happening. Extremely noisy in the room. Went to reception and their first statement was "we're fully booked", which was annoying as an opening gambit, when clearly they weren't fully booked and I suspect actually meant "we don't have any available different rooms of the type you booked". To their credit the manager sorted out a different room quickly, which was an upgraded room, at the back of the hotel and higher up, which was nice and quiet for our night's sleep. I don't object to noisy hotels if the websites state that, but this didn't. Didn't have a chance to use any spa facilities which would have made it better value I suppose. A nice hotel and handy for the car park opposite and walking distance to the main Cardiff shopping areas and the castle, but I would seriously think twice about staying here again. Very expensive and runs the risk of being noisy.

Room carpet was vacuumed and room generally clean but multiple stains on grubby carpet - required deep cleaning or replacement

There were a few issues - however the front desk staff were amazing at sorting these out.

There was very loud dance music coming from the nightclub opposite until around 3/4am which made it impossible to sleep
