We need a stay for relax and get it. It was calmly. We have been at Madeira many times, I think this was our 24 trip. We have stay at a lot of different hotel. This year it wasnt possible to reservate our favorite hotel. Now we get a new favorite at Florasol Recidense. Hope to be back next year

Very good location. Would recommend highly

It is a solid residence which we are returning to for another 5 nights. There is space, a swimming pool, amd fine buffet dinners for 17 Euros pp. We did not encounter any cleanliness problems.

We stayed in an oceanview room with kitchenette, 2 balconies. Very clean. Great location close to shops and bus stop. Daily breakfast was a great assortment and cooked to order eggs. Will stay again.

Read the fine print when booking this hotel! We booked thru Expedia. Found out our booking did not include a room with air conditioning, the safe did not include a lock (which makes no sense) and the breakfast was an extra charge. Our room did not have a ceiling fan, although the receptionist who checked us in insisted it did. We had to ask every day for a room fan and finally got it on our last day. Even with the patio door open, the room was very hot. Kitchen was adequate, but no towels (we had to use our bath towels)

Room has dirty sheets

The room conditions is very poor, the room wasn’t cleaned and all the hotel including the room had bad smell. There wasn’t any picture of the bathroom in the reservation otherwise I would never book it.

The hotel had no air conditioning We had a fan on the ceiling and they gave us one. Not enough It was so warm. We don’t sleep great for 7 nites.

Apartamento superior com vista do mar - amplo e muito confortável. Possui cozinha completa e sacada. A localização é estratégica, pois ali em São Martinho existem muitos hotéis, lojas e restaurantes.

Just love this place!

Booked a room with a side sea view and got a room at the back of the hotel with no view of the sea. The smallezt balcony off the bedroom and just a window in the lounge which was very dark and like a cell. Went to recetion and although pleasant could not offer us a different room. Glad they didnt have a weeks availibilry and now in The Girassol. Much nicer for the same money

Good quality accommodation at an excellent price. It’s not the Ritz but the room we had was comfortable and had a pleasant sea view. The breakfast was included and was very good. There are many restaurants nearby and it’s also on a main bus route with the centre of Funchal less than 10 minutes away. If you are looking for a comfortable budget stay on this wonderful island this could be for you.
