Loved it here. Only thing I would’ve done differently is getting privilege.

We booked as privileged and Enjoyed those perks. Ismael Medina our butler was so helpful in every way, including finding my husbands wallet and returning it. All the staff were very very pleasant and accommodating. As I mentioned in my other review, we did NOT like or appreciate the third party travel club bothering us so if you’re not interested don’t fall for the breakfast pickup and offer of free massage. We shut it all down once we realized it was a sales pitch about to waste our time. We did have to show our frustration a bit with that group. One thing I failed to mention. When it rains, the floors are a hazard. My mom fell and we had to push her around in a wheelchair the rest of the trip. Overall, it is a beautiful and clean resort with amazing staff. Oh and be cautious with the parrot folks on the beach. They take loads of photos in a blink of an eye and then demand money. Work out that price beforehand or give a firm no if not interested.

We booked the “privilege” option and enjoyed those perks. Our “butler” Ismael Medina was great! Provided us all the guidance and assistance needed. He even found and returned my husband’s wallet. Overall staff at this resort is beyond nice, helpful, and very very accommodating. Resort is very clean. The only thing that caught us off guard so I caution you, there is a travel club onsite and our experience was this: We were picked up for breakfast the second morning there. Unbeknownst to us, it ended up being this sales pitch from the third party travel club. If you are not interested, I warn you to not fill out the from and be taken down the path. They offer a free massage and we thought it was just part of our privilege package. Once we caught on to what was happening, we shut it down and we were VERY annoyed with that group for wasting some of our time on vacation. Lesson learned. Not sure why the resort allows them to do that but now we know how to avoid that in the future and what to look for. Aside from that experience, our stay was great.

I have very bad trip

Overall great resort for family. Food was ok. Not the best, but I can say that for a lot of all inclusive resorts. There is a lot of vendors on the beach asking you to buy stuff. Sometimes it becomes annoying. They did not have staff at pool or beach area bringing drinks or food to you. You have to go to the bar and get it your self. I wish there was a few water slides there for the kids or even a splash pad. There was a staff member by the name of Ariel. He was a director of service I believe. He mad our daughter’s birthday’s birthday that much better. Thank you so much. Overall definitely recommend for the price and all the amenities you get with this resort. It was a beautiful resort.

I would HIGHLY recommend Ocean Blue and Sand Resort in Punta Cana. From arrival to departure the staff were AMAZING! They couldn’t do enough for us. So so friendly, and always smiling. The rooms were spotless, the restaurant staff always happy & eager to please. The first night our room air conditioning was not working and right away they moved our room with a bell boy coming up to help with the move.There was lawns something going on each day from activities at the beach, pool, shopping, And so many restaurants to choose from each night. We didn’t even get to all of them. Sensai hibachi was so delicious and fun!! It’s a must. We never had an issue finding lounge chairs by the pool or beach as there were enough for everyone at all times! The 2 swim up pool bars were a delight while in the pool. Best vacation to celebrate my 50th birthday with my daughter.

The property was nice with two huge pools and private beach. The restaurants were ok, I think the buffet was probably the better option. They don’t tell you that men can’t wear tank tops to the restaurants, which is a bit ridiculous when women can walk in in short skirts or barely there tops. My husband had to go back to the room and grab a tshirt. I can’t vouch for the kids club because my son was not interested in checking it out. Though activities on site were not easy to find or mentioned at check in. Be prepared to be asked over and over about if you’ve seen the presentation for the Premium Travel Club. The staff were nice enough about it but it’s a bit off putting when you go somewhere to relax and are trying to be sold something. The rooms are as pictured and are nice.

Food amazing!! Every restaurant is great. Drinks great. I didnt like that to enter to all restaurants if the swim coverup is a little transparent they wont let you in, even thou that is not shown as the "ground rules"..just swimsuit. Punta cana is a pool/beach resort, clothes are beach style.. so that should improve.

Our stay at the Ocean Blue hotel was outstanding. The staff was friendly and the property was very clean. The rooms were spacious and we were really close to both the pool and the beach. The buffet was excellent quality, one of the best I’ve had at an all inclusive resort. My only complaint would be for the restaurant reservations- even when we made the reservation in advance, there was still a 20-30minute wait. Otherwise I was very happy with my stay and would definitely return.
