Poor, breakfast was diabolical. Poor quality products and cold. Didnt bother with breakfast the second day. No iron, ironing board or fan in room, unusual for a 4 star hotel. Restaurant not open during my 2 night stay, didn't want ti walk into the town for food after a 4hr drive. Would i stay again........no

Unable to shut bathroom door Areas of lighting not working Socket broken, (only one near the bed). Two consecutive mornings of cold showers, third morning had to run for a period of time for it to be warm . Woken @ 04.00hrs by neighbouring room . Sounding like they were falling into furniture, ? Breaking . 04.30 knocking on my door wakening my 13yr grandson who was swimming at national level that day . Told them wrong room . Was assured security was on duty . Breakfast had obviously sat for some time . Hotel looks tired , carpet raised all over in room . No chair in room, just a table, holes in curtain .

Good sized, if somewhat dated, room. But everything worked. Parking available at the hotel for £10 a night, or there’s a multistory close by for £5 a night

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. We spent approximately 1 hour in our rooms before leaving to go home. We didn’t even stay the night.

I wish I had read the reviews before booking. A really tired and unclean hotel, that looks like it has had no investment for years. My shower did not work properly and there was no hot water. At breakfast, the coffee machine did not work and from reading other reviews it looks like this had been broken for some time. One night was £158 with breakfast, which now feels like a rip off. Could have stayed in a better hotel for less

The rooms are very warm and carpet was torn in a few places. The toilet lush was hanging off the unit. Staff were pleasant but more needed on desk at check in time. Was convenient for what we needed

Very disappointing stay. The hotel is extremely outdated, in poor condition, and has a strong musty smell throughout. It did not live up to the expectations set by the listing or reviews. I wouldn’t stay here again and would recommend looking elsewhere if you’re visiting Swansea.

The hotel was inexpensive and in my head I think you get what you pay for. However the premier inn is also just as inexpensive (if not more so) and far nicer (it was sold out). The carpets are all rucked up in the rooms and hallways. The beds you can feel the springs in the mattress. The aircon didn’t work (not great in a heat wave). Pubes on the floor in the bathroom and general dust dirt in all the corners of the room. We arrived an 1.5 hours early. Went to the desk to ask if room ready would it be possible to check in….yes room ready- that’ll be £20 though (no thank you). The location is good, didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. Wouldn’t recommend but if it’s in your budget and only place available then I’m sure there are worse.

The location is very good, less than 15 minutes to walk to the coach station or railway station. There are many shops and cafes near the hotel. The room is clean and the air conditioning is good. The staff are polite and helpful. The building is a bit old style but it is OK for me.

This hotel was absolutely dreadful. The staff were rude and unhelpful. Very dirty. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

Very worn stair carpets - had to use the stairs as there was only one, very small, lift working and waiting for it took up most of the morning. Not much food on offer in the evening apart from a (frozen?) pizza - which was actually very nice.

good location with plenty of parking. The whole inside was tired and old fashioned. The room we had was poorly decorated, the windows are rotting, the carpet is dirty and rumpled up, the furniture is old and tatty, the bathroom, though quite large, was scruffy and with mold around the bath, the plug didn't fit the sink, there was no hot water in the morning and the cold air blower didn't really produce any cold air. Certainly wouldn't stay here again.

Centrally located but very dated, needs a damn good spruce up. No receipts available from the bar, had a post it note with the charges written on. Breakfast was a good choice, the staff are all very good.

Room was the worst I have ever stayed in , , cobwebs , along with the spiders in corner , bird droppings on window , stains on carpets & chairs , the furniture was worn and scratched , carpet a tripping hazard as all uneven , & not just in the room , the list goes on . I didn’t even use the tea and coffee in the room as the state of the room put me off using the kettle. I would’ve asked to be moved , but was only staying for 1 night , and judging by the corridors and stairways and the rest of the hotel , including the dining areas , a different room would’ve probably been just as bad.

One of the two very small lifts was broken down; the Barasserie was never open; the curtains at the end of the corridor were hanging off. Room was comfortable and the breakfast was fine
