The place is awesome. Plenty of things to do, beautiful gym and a rooftop pool. Outdoor pool by the lake is gorgeous. Staff is very professional and very friendly. Had a fantastic stay and we highly recommend it.

We had a partial view of the lake-room, which was lovely. Absolutely spotless and housekeeping did a fab job. The sky bar and the beach club are highlights, and the cocktails are great. Just be mindful that there is a HUGE construction site to the right of the hotel as you look at it. The builders start at 7.30. There was no pre warning of this, and it does affect the view. They don’t didn’t any special efforts , given that we were on honeymoon and made it clear on booking that we were, which was disappointing. Overall a great stay with helpful staff.

Beautiful hotel in the best location with a spectacular lake front pool and an amazing roof deck.

We had two consecutive reservations for the same room category for a total of 4 nights and the hotel manager refused to allow us to stay in the same room , so we ended up switching rooms . Not a great experience with the hotel management but the rest of the staff seem helpful.

La Palma was amazing! We stayed 2 nights in Stresa and absolutely loved this place. The crown jewel was the rooftop pool with an amazing view, and though it was a bit too cold to use the beach club pool by the lake, I can imagine it's an amazing experience as well. Parking on site, breakfast included, and perfectly located within the town. Will definitely stay here again!

Stresa is an enchanting enclave on Lago Maggiore. the hotel is modern, very nicely appointed. We had a balcony with table and chairs. Breakfast was fabulous. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooftop pool, bar, and incredible views of the lake and mountains round out what is a fabulous hotel. Oh, did I mention the spa. Everything you need to relax. It's hard to go wrong with any location in Stresa, it's such a small town. Nicely situated on the lake and easy access to the Boromean islands and Verbania, on the opposite side of the lake.

Great Helpful Staff and great rooftop bar.

The dining room was poor. No one smiled!! Non-attentive, had to waive down staff for more of anything. Noises heard through walls. Heating that you couldn’t change made it difficult to sleep. Non intuitive thermostat. Bar staff were exceptional. All in all, a 3 in my book.

Great location, right on the lake with its own private pool, pier and lake access. Modern design which is a contrast to the surrounding Italian style properties. Breakfast was great; huge selection, great quality and ability to eat in the garden with lake views. With the exception of the reception staff, pool guy (forgot his name) and the managers in the restaurant the rest of the staff lacked 4 star service. Service on the roof top bar was slow and the staff that were around didn’t smile or engage well. Maybe it was just hot… Our room was small and even smaller when we had an extra bed put in it. I know this was our choice, but to be then charged 40 Euro per night for the privilege was not a pleasant surprise at the end. This wasn’t hugely clear through Expedia when i booked. Overall a great stay, but a few refinements would have made it a better value stay and better 4 star experience.

We loved our stay here! Everything was well kept and clean. The views from the rooftop bar were amazing. Likewise, the drinks and service! The staff went above and beyond to provide recommendations and helped my fiancé with arranging flowers/wine for his proposal. We couldn't of picked a better place to stay!

We had a 5 night stay at this wonderful hotel and everything was absolutely perfect. The location is amazing overlooking the Lake with a short walk into the town. There was a plentiful choice for breakfast and parking is also available. A very enjoyable holiday!
