Great view from balcony

The view from the balcony is always my favorite. Staff is delightful and always helpful and friendly. I feel at home in Istanbul.

Small, Nice, clean hotel. Very close to istiklal and taksim streets (and easy movement through taksim Metro station). But what I liked most was the friendly and professional staff. They helped me with all my requests.

The hotel ok but very old, super tight rooms and smells old too. Not impressed at all

Great room, excellent value as we stayed out of season. Location was good close to the square and shops would look to stay here again next time we are in Istanbul

I really enjoyed this smaller boutique hotel just a few blocks away from Taksim Square and about 1 mile (or less) from the Bosphorous. It was located at the end of a street, so no traffic going by (which made it quiet). It was very close to many restaurants, shopping, banks, etc. It was clean and the front desk staff were very helpful.

I really liked staying at Cihangir hotel. The room was very clean . The staff was very friendly and also breakfast was good too!

Staff made extra effort for my birthday They arranged a cake for my friend and we cwlebrated on my rooms balcony. Steps away from Taxim and in the residential area of Cihangir.

Hospitable, great location, safe

Balcony rooms have a nice view. Steps away to Beyoğlu and restaurants in cihangir. The orange trees were blooming nearby filling the street with beautiful perfume. My favorite place in Istanbul.

very nice place to stay

The hotel was in a bad location. Mid-way up a mountain. I was deceived into thinking the hotel had a view over the lake because the advertisement showed a view. The room was small. I booked a room with two beds and got a room with a double bed. The 2nd night we were moved to an accessible room with 2 beds. The breakfast was great. The property was hard to reach, especially by night. The taxis did not want to go there. We had to walk out the streets to get taxis. We had to pay extra to return to the hotel one night. The hotel called several times for taxis for us, but each time, none was available. I regretted staying there.

Beautiful hotel for the price

Very friendly staff. Genuinely caring and helpful. They went extra to keep our luggage for a couple of days in their storage while we were traveling to other city. Breakfasts had a rich menu with many options, and, nice and friendly staff too.
