It was wonderful we were celebrating 35 yrs of marriage. We go there almost every year for our anniversary.

Great location. Good price. They had me sign in the day before online including sending them a copy of my DL, but then forced me to do it all again in person. The toilet was for a child. the tiles in the bathroom were broken. The place did not seem that clean. Marijuana smoke strong in the hall.

Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan is a unique American town and I love how this hotel fits into the distinct vibe of its small but vital downtown core.

It definitely needs some updating. Worn out carpet, chipped tub, rusty fixtures. The beds only have a sheet and thin blanket, no comforters. One of the front desk clerks wasn’t friendly. She seemed like she’d rather not be in hospitality, so that put a damper on things. Lastly, they advertise as dog friendly yet you can’t leave your dog in the room unattended even if they’re crated. So going out to grab a bite to eat isn’t an option. They don’t have a restaurant or room service so we ended up leaving dog in car with it running and heat on while we got carry out. It wasn’t a terrible stay, just little annoyances. I wouldn’t stay here again though.

Nice hotel in downtown, on same block or near multiple restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Nice views from side of hotel I was on and big room.

We had a 5 star stay !!

We had problem with being put right beside a room with a big dog. When there were plenty other rooms open. We left because of barking dog. We let staff know and they refunded the cost of our room. We went to another hotel.

I liked that this property was close to the Soo Locks but it was very basic and flawed.

Great place to stay

I liked the historical aspect of this hotel. Also, it was very clean, staff very friendly and helpful. The name 'Ojibway' is for the local Native American inhabitants of the area, but there is nothing in the hotel to honor that history. Would be nice to have.

This is a very nice historic hotel that could use a little TLC. Everything was nice and clean and the staff was excellent. It could just use a few updates and fixes while preserving the history.

Would stay here again.
