All that’s been said about this hotel and more. It’s fantastic and being able to step on to the beach after some nice breakfast is fabulous

Rooms are very small although rooms with a sea view would be a little better as there is a balcony. We could not get a sea view room so there was no place to hang beach towels to dry off. Overall its a nice hotel with a lovely pool and beautiful view out to the sea

Loved the quiet location and great boardwalk and close access to the beaches.

This was my first stay at the hotel. I had a room with balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. The facility is well maintained. Breakfast was included and a good variety of items were available. I would stay again.

Nice clean very good location appropriate for families with children and couples the beach was ver close and umbrellas chairs and beach towels available.Very good breakfast and pleasant bar terase where you could enjoy food cocktails drinks and good coffee

Great little place.

To whom it may concern I have just returned from my 7 night stay at Dom Jose hotel. I had booked and paid for a superior room with sea view( sleeps 4)- even though there was only two of us- as we wanted the bigger room. However, I was very disappointed with the room. When I booked, it said that we would have dressing gowns which we didn’t have. In addition the shower was very poor quality and over the bath which I certainly would not have expected in a superior room. I stayed in a standard room in this hotel a few weeks earlier and I could see no difference whatsoever in the room standards.

The hotel is easy to get to from the airport and the back gate has direct access to the beach (not a private area but there are sun loungers available to rent). The room was clean and spacious, with good wardrobe sizing and a decent bathroom. Our only complaint with the room was the aircon which could sometimes be difficult to use with the remote as it wouldn't respond to on/off or temperature switch. The wifi was also a bit tricky - you need to ask for the code at reception and make sure it covers the entirity of your stay, and our code only worked for one device so you may need to get multiple if you are sharing the room. With our stay, we had breakfast included. The selection was excellent, with hot and cold options. The restaurant was big enough for us to sit comfortably near the window looking out to the beach or a bit further in where it was quieter. The staff also looked after us very well, and were super friendly. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

We came in a small 2 night trip part of a longer trip, although the lobby looked brand new I’d say there parts of the hotel which could do with a bit of paint mainly the building it’s self. Breakfast was good, rooms had loads of space. However only one pool and it’s in quite a small area, not sure how this would work on the height of summer with kids there etc, should probably make it an adults only hotel.

It’s a great experience my stay at the hotel the food,service and the staffs are amazing it’s worth for the money I’ll recommend this hotel and I’ll like to go back again to this hotel I really enjoyed my time in the hotel and my holiday is fantastic.

Very clean, friendly helpful reception staff. Good gym which was clean and well equipped. Free but you need to book as only 4 people can access at any one time. Reasonable choice at breakfast but quality of the yogurts/meats etc let it down. Breakfast staff polite and helpful. Nice looking pool but there didn’t look to be enough sun beds for the number of guests. On the good side a sign up saying you can’t reserve beds. We hired bikes €15 a day but the bike could do with some maintenance. We had a standard room which was adequate. Tea/coffee/water and safe included. View out of the back of the hotel is a derelict building. Bar service very slow. Couldn’t cope with demand. Hotel caters for British package deals and a lot of elderly clients. Staff at reception were very patient with them.

Good stay… comfortable, clean, quiet and a great location. The internet is good, but difficult to log in on from everywhere.

The hotel was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was amazing. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

Staff were very helpful. Great terrace for eating and drinking. Large rooms, great views.

Overall good experience, I do need to say that it was, that some staff behaviours, will let the hotel reputation down.
