I was in a studio room, that is not located in the main building. When I showed I wish for cleaning the sign was always blown away by the wind and staff did not see it. They should care about it a little bit more.

Beautiful location by the lake. It's close to our family and suited us to have the breakfast as well as the night's sleep.

The hotel felt to be teared down, need for refreshment? Some, not much dust in corners. Breakfast average. All SPA lockers in one space.

The rooms don't have AC! So during the hot summer it's absolutely terrible to stay there.

I was bit disappointed that spa was not included with room. Surroundings are really nice, tracks to the lake...

Nice sauna and pool with water massage helped to relax after long working day. Enviroment is great if you manage to arrive in time for a walk in forrest and close the lake.

Hotel is in an excellent location although I would not recommend this hotel as usually there is a silence code between 22.00 and 06.00. Here large groups were returning at 23.45 singing and running around on the 4th floor. Then again at 02.15 and again at 05.25. So if you want a good nights sleep especially from Thursday to Sunday go elsewhere.

The room was fine except for the lack of air-conditioning. Open terrace door helped keep the room from getting stuffy. The outstanding feature of hotel is the spa. It features 4 different kinds of sauna, a small swimming pool and two hot-tubs. The view from the hot tub is spectacular, looking across the river. The sauna experience was truly Finnish. There is also a "suolahuone" (salt room) where you can sit and breath salt air. The spa is very modern and well kept. Well worth the extra 15 Euros. We would stay there again just for the spa experience.

Cosy Spa Hotel

Spa was a disappointment, because it was so tiny and the best part, outside pool was closed. We reserved one night, but we left in the evening already because spa was partly closed and it started to rain and also the restaurant was a disappointment...

This hotel is a good hotel if you have a few days to spend in the area. It has a lot of things to do. However I was only there for one night so unfortunately I couldn't avail of a lot of the services they have to offer. Hotel feels like your in remote part of Finland but its within walking distances of shops. Its quiet area makes it ideal stop off hotel. The room was spacious and very clean. All amenities are provided including dressing gowns. Breakfast was self serve and consisted of hot and cold foods and tasted great. I will continue to stay at this hotel when I return because I found it a very welcoming and relaxing hotel even though I was only there for one night.

hotel is nice but foods are extremely expensive at restaurant. Pool area was under renovation :( funny! You need to buy indoor slippers!

Staff were really helpful with any information they were also really friendly -food in the restaurant was of a high standard, I highly recommend the duck - spa facilities execellent, Great pools - I would recommend to friends -

Nice spa clean and well supervised, good size swimming pool. Staff helpful, and polite, however the breakfast buffet was monotonous,the evening meals lacked imagination. Surprising that hotel guests still had to pay an entrance fee to enter the dancing area(all be it a reduced fee) Good information available regarding local amenities places of interest etc.

The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. We especially enjoyed the smoke sauna, lumberjack demonstration, Finnish dinner and accordian entertainment. We took the boat from the hotel to Kuopio and the bus back to the hotel. The spa massages and sauna were lovely. The Ala Carte dinner in the cafe was nice, and the breakfast buffet was included. This is a great place for families, couples, and retirees.
