For a Hotel with this pricepoint, even though the heatwave was not expected, you cannot have a very poor air conditioning system in the rooms, let alone the common areas. I was also traveling with other people and they all had the same situation/opinion

Lovely hotel. Good size rooms. Excellent location. Breakfast a bit pricey (€26) but the standard double room had kitchen facilities and there’s a supermarket five minutes walk away.

The location was incredibly convenient, and the breakfast spread was fantastic, especially the eggs. Would totally recommend staying here!

Room was very spacious and comfortable. There was only body wash (no shampoo) but all in all, a nice set up. Bar was excellent with friendly staff and a great feature drink.

Wonderful stay at The Madison from check in to check out. The room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the location was within walking distance of the Elbphilharmonie and Miniatur Wunderland (highly recommended). One highlight was the never empty bowl of gummies and licorice at the check in desk. Would definitely recommend!

My wife and I stayed in the Madison Hotel (Executive studio) for two nights in August 2025. We absolutely loved this hotel! The room was beautiful, spacious, spotless and had everything we needed. The location is perfect for exploring Hamburg and the hotel personnel were lovely and very helpful. The underground parking was also great. All-in-all, one of our favorite hotels that we have stayed in.

Convenient location. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel does not own a gym. The gym charges EUR 15 to use. Very inconvenient. I would normally let everything go, but one waitress, in her late fourties, with a man`s haircut, grey hair was very rude and this is totally unforgiveable in a service industry. She also attacked us verbally in the parking garage. I stayed at the hotel with my wife and son. I own my own business, if one of my staff members would do this to our customers, this employee would be terminated immediately. I hope this honest review will be published and management will take action.
