They are renovating. Which is understandable. However I was not told i would have a room right next to the construction site. Noise was unbearable. I was there with my young child. Forget nap time. Forget any sort of relaxation. I took pictures of the site next door, and recordings of the sounds. We couldn't even watch tv. The card key stopped working. After we came back at night (8h30). The clerck was unable to fix it. He did not have the spare key. So we got locked out. Couldnt put my child to bed. Thankfully the maintenance person came to open the door. So i had to stay in the room until the next morning. The pool was nice. Breakfast was great as well. I wish i was told about constructions or placed in another room.

The cleaning lady woke us up by knocking on our room door at 10:45 AM, asking what time we were planning to leave. My husband told her that we would be checking out at the designated time, which is 12:00 PM. She knocked on our door again at 11:45 AM. My husband responded through the door, without opening it, that we would be leaving shortly. We felt rushed and even began to wonder if we had missed the checkout time. It felt as though she simply wanted us to leave early so she could get ahead in her work.

First of all, I was disappointed with the booking process. Due to an issue with data connection, my room was booked twice. I received two email confirmations within a minute of each other (1:27 and 1:28). I immediately called the hotel to report the duplicate booking, but they advised me to contact Hotels.com. Hotels.com was very helpful in addressing the issue, but unfortunately, the property refused to provide a credit. They insisted on enforcing their non-refundable policy, despite it clearly being a system error. Upon arrival, the lady at check-in was very kind and helpful, which I appreciated. However, later in the evening when we asked about restaurant recommendations, the gentleman at the desk was not as helpful and came across as dismissive. Overall, the experience left me frustrated with the hotel’s lack of flexibility regarding the booking error, and the inconsistent customer service was disappointing.

Checking in after a long day of travelling from Quebec City & doing the biodome with 2 small kids in crazy hot weather. The card did not work, I had to go back down to the front desk FIVE times! The first gentleman at the front desk was very kind and apologetic, but after the 4th trip up and down and still couldn’t get in our room. My two young boys (3 & 6) were restless, fidgety and fighting each other by this point. The whole family was tired and hungry. The kind front desk man didn’t know what to do, so he went to get another employee, I’m assuming was a supervisor or manager. I was obviously frustrated by this point, I was not rude, I didn’t not yell or anything but I mentioned being frustrating. The employee was so unbelievably rude and condescending right off the bat. Did not apologize but started accusing me of « demagnetizing the cards », I asked if he wanted to come up & try it with me where he snapped back rudely « NO, I DON’T ». At one point he told me to calm down when I was simpIy talking. Unbelievable how he was speaking to me. I wanted to leave & go to another hotel. Went back up after he « fixed » the card. IT STILL DID NOT WORK!! When I went back down yet again, his attitude was a total 360. He was all apologetic now, offered the kids to pick free treats, put us in a different room. I would NEVER go back to this hotel simply because of how rude this employee was. I’ve been to many hotel all over and this is by far the rudest service I’ve ever had!
