On the left side of the bed there was an uncomfortable crease that made it nearly impossible to sleep. The staff asked us upon check-in if we’d been there before. We answered «no», then I was not given directions for the elevator, I had to ask how we got to our room. Only one pack of sugar free sweetener next to the kettle in our room. The breakfast was one of the highlights.

Fab well equipped rooms with a fridge. Very comfy bed and pillows. Very close to everything in Arendal. Great facilities and fantastic breakfast!

this is how to hold a hotel

I stay here quite regularly for work and usually dread the summer months as this hotel can be quite stuffy at night. Fortunately the weather was crap for my recent visit but it's still far to warm in the rooms for a good nights sleep. For info, the temperature controls do nothing - AC is turned off in all rooms. Aside from that, the hotel is a very good standard with clean rooms and good facilities (breakfast is excellent)

Grat service and great location and great place to stay. The staff was very helpful. And great room with a veranda while we had a dog with us. The restaurant is on the very top of the building with a great view,

Great hotel, but the entrance side of the building is a local late night party zone on Fridays and Saturdays nites. Such loud music till 3am made sleeping impossible.

Like the stay at Thon and stay there often for many years now. Has a friendly atmosphere and the breakfast room and breakfast is fantastic !!!

Quick & fast check-in at reception with friendly & hive good info on parking. Beautiful & colorful deco. Aircondition is working coolingly at all time in the room. Good food & friendly service at breakfast . Recommended 👍

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Everyone was extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The room was a bit on the tight side as getting around the bed with suitcases on the floor was a bit of a challenge, but we certainly managed. The evening light buffet was so helpful and a real bonus for the traveler who had put in a long day of sightseeing. The food was just excellent! I never saw so many choices of toppings for yogurt in my life! Definitely recommend this hotel.
