This is an excellent hotel Jodie is a most accommodating and friendly manager. All staff are excellent.

Very convenient for Canterbury sights and restaurants. Interesting decor. Good bar. Lovely staff.

Check in was efficient and the welcome friendly. Room and bathroom were a good size and clean. Unfortunately I had to leave too early to try the breakfast. Hotel is only a short walk from Canterbury West train station and the Marlowe Theatre. The room that I stayed in overlooked North Lane and I would just say that if you're a light sleeper it might be a good idea to have earplugs in case the traffic noise bothers you. I'd happily stay here again.

Lovely greeting at reception. Great room just off of reception. Spacious and very clean. Loved the bar and lounges, very comfortable. Enjoyed the cocktails. Breakfast was included, continental if you wanted and a choice of cooked breakfast. Would definitely recommend and will stay again

The room was absolutely stunning and the actual hotel is itself it lovely! What an amazing old building! That being said the staff although attentive & doing their job could have a little bit more of a friendly approach, no one was rude or anything like that, but also being greeted without so much as a smile is a bit bizarre. Would definitely stay again & recommend!
