Very clean and great amenities... all the staff were friendly and only to willing to help with anything.

What I can say is that I would stay there again, it had the comfort and meal selections I like and venue is well located

The view overlooking esplanade priceless. Hotel just a little outdated but good night rate. So guess u can’t have both.

Good location

We liked the location and the room was generous. The beds were not comfortable.

Property not well maintained light bulbs out in our room electrical fittings not working. Ate dinner in the restaurant and found a hair in my salad. Felt like a a 2 star property and uncared for

Unfortunately, our one night stay before a flight from Cairns didn’t meet expectations. While the staff were friendly and efficient at check in, the hotel and rooms have seen better days and are quite tired. We had booked a family room which had small bunks for the kids. While these beds worked well, unfortunately both of them had dirty sheets (stains), requiring a call to reception to get them changed when we got back from dinner and pulled back the sheets. They did change the sheets, but we didn’t get an explanation or real apology.

Room was spacious, however very dated. Had buffet breakfast- left alot to be desired.

Although a 4 star hotel this appeared mediocre and the pool was not clean. Its just the room and no other extras come with it. Parking has extra fee.

Beds were comfortable but the hotel itself is looking very tired.

Close to everthing

No toaster, or microwave. Limited mugs and glasses. Very expensive dinning. Other then that, clean and comfortable.

Friendly staff, good area

Stayed here with my hubby and 2 kids, 16, 14. We didn’t use many of the amenities since we were out and about the few days we were there. We were able to use the local bus a couple of times and it was a convenient walk from the hotel. It was close to a great cafe - Muddy’s Cafe (fantastic food & view), walking downtown is doable - about 30 min? We ate at the restaurant one night and it was pretty good, decent selection. They had food we could take on the road as well - muffins and some sandwiches which was great as we were heading out for excursions. They have a whole wall of excursions around the area and they set us up with a Great Barrier Reef snorkeling trip. They have shampoo, conditioner & body wash in the shower, mini fridge, no microwave. Very close to the airport. Decent as far as noise levels from the hallway- people are just not considerate in the halls. I would stay here again.

Coffee and tea selections can be improved with addition of some biscuits.
