Property is in need of a refresh, but given I was skiing and dining most of the time, it didn’t matter much. The convenience and location were worth it. Mattress was also too hard!

Great location, excellent staff. Not as swanky as photos suggest but still a nice place.

The 5-person apartment was great value for our 3 day ski holiday. The receptionists were very helpful at check in and providing us with assistance when we needed it. The spa was a welcome treat at the end of a hard days skiing and the restaurant was good value. The apartment was clean and well suited to 5 men on a short trip

This was our second visit to Village Montana. We are a large group and the convenience of Hotel accommodation with self catering apartments is really useful. Everyone meets in the bar after dinner. Staff are very friendly, food is great and you are straight on the piste in the morning.

It's about a 5 minute walk with ski gear to a place where you can start skiing in to the lifts. The Vannier apartments are a bit more economical option that the other apartment buildings or the Village Montana hotel. There is only one toilet which can be a pain with a family of 5, and the furniture isn't terribly comfortable. Otherwise, though small, it has everything you need.

Our second summer stay in Tignes - can’t recommend it highly enough for families. So much to do and with the MyTignes Card pretty much all the activities are free! Swimming at the pool, pedal boats, kayaks and SUP’s on the lake, trampolines for the little ones and loads more. Chairlifts and cable cars are running and free also so amazing for a lift up and a hike back down. The 2 bed apartment was well set up and in the mountain style you would expect. Great view from the balcony too. Fairly well worn and I suppose slightly showing it’s age and year round use. Kitchen was compact but functional for us as a family who like to cook. The only negative for the apartment really was that the sofa was something of an implement of torture- not the most comfortable! Other negatives if I had to find them were the parking situation (paid the €30 for the covered parking but it was so awkward and tight to get in and out that we gave up after the first night, got a refund and parked on the street). Similarly, as a place used by scores of mountain bikers, there’s nowhere for them to put their bikes a la a ski room in the winter. Consequently all the bikes are brought into the accommodation in the evening, taken up in the lifts and stored in balconies. Not ideal. The solution would be to block out the small inaccessible parking and bring in a load of bike racks for the summer. Don’t want to sound too negative, overall it was a great stay. 10/10 for Tignes, 8/10 for the Montana.

The Alpage apartment was fantastic - cozy, well equipped, perfect for a ski holiday. Convenient covered parking (extra fee), access to the bars and restaurants in the hotel, 24-hour reception and the morning bakery service were all pluses. The hotel is ski-in / ski-out, and the heated ski locker room was very convenient. Shops were a short and very pleasant walk away. The only reason "cleanliness" got an average score was because the dishes and cutlery in the kitchen had stains and dirty spots - we ended up washing them all before using them. Otherwise, the rooms and bathrooms were spotless. The welcome pack with basic cleaning supplies and toiletries was a nice touch.

Apartment is well located, very close to the lifts in Le Lac. However the apartment was very small, with pretty basic furnishings, appliances and bathroom, considering it is marketed as being a comfortable place. The 4/6 person apartment was a squeeze for 4 people. The hotel spa facilities (€10) cost per day is absolutely tiny; people seemed to be wandering round in a circle asking themselves 'is this it?'

We stayed here for a week in April 2016. Our appartment was in the main hotel building, and suited us perfectly. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. Our children had a separate bedroom with single beds, which is preferable for us to a sofa bed. The kitchen was small but well equipped and we cooked most meals here. There was also the option of ordering bread and croissants for breakfast. The ski locker was large enough for all our gear and had boot dryers, and access was a short 50m walk to a ski in ski out point. The wifi was adequate, slower in the evening. The staff were very helpful, in particular Jeanette (lovely German lady). Although we speak French, most staff had excellent English. We parked undercover for the week, and although we couldn't check in until 5pm, we were able to park our car early and ski for the day. There was a small, well stocked supermarket close by and some restaurants which the staff were happy to reserve for us. If you arrive on the Saturday, you can buy your ski pas at the hotel. Overall, this was a great hotel, and I would love to go back here.

Stayed here for 7 nights in a two bedroom flat in the Alpage building (adjoining the hotel proper). We paid separately for breakfast. Not properly on the slopes. From the Alpage building you are required to mount two flights of steps and do a short walk to the slopes. We paid for breakfast which was very average for a 4*. If you go to breakfast after 9 am there will be shortages of all sorts of food and indeed, one morning the staff were dismantling the tables at this time so that we only had a choice of a table tucked away in a corner. The car park (found through the Vanier building opposite) was so difficult to find in the dark that I wasted an entire hour.looking for it. It has just a set of wooden doors on the front and invisible writing. The bar is very overpriced. We walked down to the village each night to eat and drink. If you choose single beds, be aware that they are not full width ones. As we are all around 6 feet tall, this was not very comfortable.

The apartment is not so nice and cosy as on the pictures. Furniture and other staff is quite old. The colors of walls and ceiling are too dark and heavy. Maybe the rooms in the hotel are better but apartment was not like expected.

We had 10 days in Tignes and whilst the apartment was very large there were a number of issues Dishwasher didn't clean the utensils properly Sink was located in corner and difficult to reach Only 1 shower ...4 bedrooms but there was an additional bath on the master ensue. Beds were uncomfortable Linen wasn't changed or rooms serviced Tignes is lovely to visit in summer (weather permitting), but look at other options too for accommodation.

Great location close to slopes and amenities, with ski in ski out facilities. Apartment was cosy with wood burner and comfortable lounge complete with all essentials for basic self-catering. The spa facilities and bar shared with the host hotel were also a bonus.

Fantastic summer resort for very active families. My son wanted to stay for longer and now planning a repeat visit. Apartment was a good size, not as compact as in other ski resorts, but needing a refresh. Lovely to swim with views of the mountains.

I had a very nice time at the Residence Village Montana. It wasn't the quality of what my wife would have expected if she had come with me and my son for our three night get-away, but then this is France, where 4* means 3* anywhere else. The price was super, though, and for what I paid, I got excellent value for my money. A nice touch in summer is that we were able to use the pool at the Hotel Montana, which my son absolutely loved. Also, I have to say that the hotel staff with whom I interacted where superb, friendly and real professionals, especially Pauline at check-in and check-out.
