Dank & Dirty, only stay if its a must

Property is in desperate need of a refurb/maintenance. As soon as you walk in the front door you’re hit with a smell. Which carries through the whole hotel, rips in carpet. Stains on the bath, room was not cleaned during 2 night stay either which is not good. The building to the left hand side of reception can only be decribed of a council block of flats, needed to give card details to put a deposit on the room which i was not advised about which i was not happy about either, they should tell people prior to arriving. I would definitely avoid this hotel, we are working in the area for 6 weeks and will stay elsewhere now. Shocking cleanliness and shocking customer service.

From outside the property was beautiful. Inside needs updating and signs more clealy Marked. Carpets through out the corridors were dirty and in desperate need of replacing.. in my room the mattresses have lost shape and quite dirty. However the pillows and bedding was clean.

Good value for money as the room was very cheap, but the bathroom was in need of updating.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was very disappointing. The property felt very old and poorly maintained, and the overall cleanliness was not up to standard. Most concerning was the bathtub, which had visible urine stains — completely unacceptable and made it impossible to use. I chose this hotel based on the brand’s usual reputation for reliability and comfort, but sadly, this experience did not reflect that at all. It was far below what I expected, and I would not choose to stay here again.

No air- con, heating was permanently on due to some malfunction. The bedroom windows would only open a little, and when opened the road noise was terrible. I will seriously not book another Marriot hotel again.

Good overall. No air on in very hot weather. Rooms were red hot . Staff decent. Lots of parking which is free for hotel guests .

Told when checking in dinner could be taken in the dinning room after 7.00 pm, so came down to the bar had a drink, only bitter on tap was flat and watery so something else. Went over to the dinning room to be told they had a function on and didn't think it was possible to have dinner, member of staff wasn't very helpful and didn't really know what was going on, but she did say we could chose from bar menu which wasn't what we were looking for so went and found local pub for a nice meal but did mean I couldn't have a drink. On the plus side breakfast was nice, and staff at breakfast were friendly.

I arrived late in the evening and the person on reception was very helpful, taking my bag for me after check-in and then walking with me to my room to show me where it was (it was not close-by). In relation to the room itself, the bed was particularly good: Very comfortable to sleep on with high quality sheets, duvet and pillows.

A decent hotel. Only stayed the night so did not use any facilities.

Staff really friendly and helpful- helped us select routes to some free drinks ( bonus) . Sadly we ordered some food which took an hour to arrive and the gas went in the bar and there was a delay waiting for a manager to come in and change the gas. Hôtel needs some old and a bit of refurb - a strange odour in our room - unsure what it was

Really nice Hotel with great parking in beautifully landscaped grounds, very good room.

Reasonable hotel . Staff were good to accommodate me when I had to work the weekend and book another week . They changed me into a fresh room with no problems.

Downstairs was lovely, upstairs the bedrooms really do need updating only one double socket, window hardly opened no air conditioning, so was so hot in the room we had to go and buy a fan & four way extension lead would not stay again

Could do with air conditioning as it was too hot and windows could not be opened. Rooms are getting a bit old and could be upgraded

It was good overall but no air con and only one lift that only served one part of the hotel and my 79 year old friend was not in that part of the hotel

Hotel is clean but little bit dated. No lift and I have a big bag to carry to my room. The room is clean and has ironing and hair dryer and good bathroom. But the walls are very thin and kept hearing every alarm clock in the rooms above and surrounding rooms. Plus I was at the back side and could hear the linen and bin collections lorries early morning and every conversation outside as the glass in not double glazed. But for the rate and location, can't complain

Handy for local chinese takeaway also Keighley market.

The room was clean and comfortable. I only stayed one night . I have family who live nearby so I did eat at the hotel in the evening but the breakfast was good
