great place to stay i have used this hotel in the past we loved it.

We enjoyed the space of our room for a family of (4). The front desk staff were all so friendly and very helpful. As we arrived the 2nd week of July, in the heat of summer, we were not aware there was no air conditioning in our room and were set up with a mobile fan. Luckily, the windows open and there was a nice breeze, but it was rather old and made the room stuffy. Breakfast at the hotel was great as well- option to choose from an. English Breakfast or Continental with pastries, jams, eggs cooked your way, grilled tomatoes, baked beans, fruit, yogurt/granola and fresh juices and coffee. The location is great, with Bloomsbury Square and the British musuem all within a 2-3 minute walk. Safe, nieghborly and easy to get to dining/etc.

Hotel is run down and tired. The checkin was slow with far too many questions. There was a huge pile of rubbish in reception. For this price and area I would expect better.

Great access to British Museum and restaurants.

Great hotel for the money. Fantastic location. Quiet but close to the beating heart of the city.

Beautiful big clean room… will definitely stay again

We really enjoyed our stay at the Grange Buckingham more highly. After a day riding electric bikes, it was lovely to return to our beautiful and spacious room, open a cold bev from our kitchenette fridge and enjoy pate' from their dining options before heading out to see theater. The staff were exceptional. The facility lovely and historic. Highly recommend.

Felt like I was transported back to the 1970s with the decor, which is fine I have no issue with hotels decorating themselves however they want... However, the room was dirty, with black mould in the bathroom, soiled bedding and a very tired and unkept feel to everything in the room. Not a pleasant experience, I wouldn't choose to stay there again.

You get what you pay for. This is an extremely low budget hotel, and for the price, not bad at all. Very central and easy to get around. Nice staff - very pleasant and responsive. Just don't expect any frills or for the shower to work properly...

Great locations, friendly staff and room was very spacious. Bathrooms radiator didnt work so cold on the morning.

The room was very large. It was a little noisy because we needed the windows open to get fresh air. Other that it was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.

OK BUT NOT VERY SPACEOUS.

Booked a triple room and found one bed infested with spiders, crawling insects, inside pillow and under the bed sheet. Requested to change room but was told no other room available. Only managed to change to another room on the next day. The fixtures in the room is very old with a TV that is not working. Shower point is old & dirty with very low water pressure. Hardly able to wash face, not to mention bathing. Will not recommend anyone to this ‘hotel’.

Spacious rooms

Really terrific location, within walking distance of both museums and shows. Great area to stay while in London. Had a kitchenette with mini fridge which was great for keeping breakfast and fruit.

Comfortable stay, very well serviced and all the amenities were provided! We had a very nice one-night family stay. We enjoyed the location and the quaint feel of the hotel and the room. The property could use some effort in updating the sofa bed that was not the most comfortable (leaned to one side) and also upkeep of carpet, shower.

Nice location, walking distance to the British Museum, restaurants and coffee shops.

The hotel was fine and staff very helpful - facilities felt a bit dated. We were in a garden room though so it felt a bit claustrophobic
