This property is marketed as a high-quality hotel, but in reality, it is no more than a motel. The location is terrible—it’s in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by construction, and access by car is extremely difficult. Even without the roadwork, there’s construction directly behind the building, so the only views are of bridges and highways. The bonfire shown in the photos is actually right next to the road.
The room itself was very disappointing: it reeked of cigarette smoke, had no proper lighting in the bedroom (so good luck finding anything in your luggage). The sink is awkwardly placed in the corridor, and the shower/toilet is extremely cramped. The “mini-fridge” is really mini and practically useless.
I’ve stayed in at least 15 hotels in Quebec City, and this is by far the worst experience. Do not waste your money here.
