This hotel is awesome! The location is perfect and the staff are also first class. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Haarlem and I would also recommend staying here instead of Amsterdam. You will pay 3x the price in Amsterdam for this quality of hotel and Amsterdam is only a 20 minute train ride away. People are much nicer and more relaxed in Haarlem also.

This hotel is well located. Staff were great. Our room was okay. The bathroom was very nice. However both my wife and I felt the beds were lacking. Not comfortable at all. The pillows were not good. We felt that the bedding was second rate. The room was quiet. Except for when there was any activity in the central core. It’s designed to allow sound to travel. I would not categorize this property as “4 star”. 3 star for sure.

This wobderful hotel is very well located right in the centre of Haarlem, close to restaurants, shops and the canal. All the staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and pleasant. Our room was large, we'll appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The only slight issue was with the air-conditioning (or climate control as one of the staff explained) which was unable to keep the room at a comfortable temperature during the hotish spell (25C) during our visit. The staff offered us a large fan which did something to alleviate the heat but we found it too noisy to leave on at night. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice and reasonably priced. We would definitely stay there again but possibly when the weather is a bit cooler!

What a lovely hotel! Beautiful domed ceiling over the lobby stairs. We were welcomed with a friendly reception desk and given an early check-in. The location is so perfect to explore this charming city. Canals with regular short cruises, charming streets with excellent shops and a lovely town square surrounded with an outstanding choice of restaurants. Would highly recommend a stay here.

The room was clean, beds comfortable.

The staff were very good with helping me plan my trips from Haarlem to other areas using either the trains or buses. Always friendly. The breakfast was always good and plenty of choices. I would stay there again.

Shout out to the staff Amber annd Teeuw and Blessy, very accommodating and friendly staff, made our stay comfortable. We unfortunately had a bad experience with the manager Nina , who had made us uncomfortable and had insulted us during our second day breakfast ( we came in 20 minutes before closing which was at 9:40, so my husband decided to get foods enough for us to eat and enjoy it / placed on our table so the dining staff can clean up at 10). Nina, saw us still eating at 10 and said in an unfriendly voice and statement , "Don't you know we close at 10? with a tone as if if we were ignorant. We didn't say a word. We already had food on our table enough to enjoy breakfast. Did she mean we had to devour all the foods in 15 minutes/ right at 10 and be done ? We travel twice a year in different countries and this is our first bad experience. Teeuw, after we told him our bad experience tried so hard to apeace us and helped us in exploring Haarlem. Amber / front desk was lively and charming and very helpful.

This is a comfortable and really beautiful hotel. We had no issues at all and would stay there again. I only wish there was an easier way to get luggage from the train station to hotel.

Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel is quiet and perfectly located in center of great shopping, sight seeing, and restaurants.

The junior suite was excellent. Despite the hotel being full it was quiet at night. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is very well positioned for access to the town. I would recommend this hotel. We did not try the food so cannot comment on that.

Hotel was very clean . Staff was very helpful and friendly ! Breakfast available for fee - we didn’t eat breakfast there . Location was superb ! Minutes away from shops , cafes , restaurants- it’s right in historic Center of Haarlem . And also minutes away from beautiful canal. Would recommend this hotel !

The breakfast menus was very varied and tasty. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but dated.

Everything was perfect and painless. The staff is warm and helpful. The room was as comfortable as any we have stayed in at any price point. We’ll stay again as soon as we can.
