This hotel did not disclose that there would be constant construction when we booked our stay. They were using blowers, pressure washers and other loud machinery on top of the building directly beside us (same hotel, different tower) from sun up to sun down and it can be heard in the living/dining areas as well as the bedroom, pool and beach areas. They have several walkways around the pool and beach access blocked as well. When we mentioned all of this to the front desk and how much it was disturbing our peace (which you come on vacation for!) we were told - “well the construction will continue” - No apologies or anything to try to make our stay more enjoyable. We also received a text today that the water would be shut off in rooms and in our entire tower for atleast 4 hours tomorrow due to this construction. They are also extremely pushy, trying to get you to sit in for hours for timeshare presentations. When you tell them no upon check-in, they continue to hound you and even call your room to continue to further pressure you the duration on your stay. I would not recommend this hotel at all to anyone that wants a peaceful vacation and relaxation. We have stayed here before many years ago and we did not have any of these issues, but this time was absolutely horrible. **UPDATE** we were contacted by the hotel and was told that the construction was because of hurricane damage and it would continue for awhile - no apologies or anything else**

I’ve stayed at this property before, and it was good. However, this time the experience was not the same. I do understand it had some damage during last year‘s hurricane, and none of that was an issue on this visit. I did not like being on the second floor above the smoking area. People spoke with me, and I had a lack of privacy when I was sitting on my balcony. Also, my room was right next to the laundry room.

Perfect place on the beach with everything you could possibly need.

I did not like the pressure to attend a 120 minute sells pitch to become a Hilton honors member . I’m on vacation , not on a time share weekend . The internet is not secure . I used cellphone data because of the insecure internet…

great place for family vacations

We had this trip booked for a couple of months. We got there early to see if we could do early check in. The room was not available so they said they would call/text when it became available. At 430 we still were not notified so we went up to the desk and it was ready. Also, one of the ladies was very pushy about doing a timeshare. After 20 minutes of saying we were not interested she still tried to push it. We had our kids with us and they were ready to go to the pool. She also called while we were at dinner and still tried to pursued on the phone for 10 minutes while I was at dinner with my family.

Even though the property is under renovation due to the hurricane, the staff, cleanliness and amenities are top notch. We will definitely be back. They went above and beyond to accommodate our stay and were so helpful.

It was...ok. The toilet in our room would not flush properly - they brought us a plunger and a bucket. There was construction everywhere: the handicapped ramp, the brickwork by the lazy river. The lazy river itself looked pitiful compared to previous years. The cap to the large mushroom in the swimming pool was missing. There were dirty, ugly rugs in the elevator.

Big rooms. Some updating have been done in the rooms but the common areas are in poor shape.

Good and easy

After booking, I received an email that the pool area was not open. I kept the reservation knowing that we would spend a lot of time on the ocean, which was steps away. Upon arrival, they informed me that the pool was open, that was a happy surprise. We checked in late, due to a delay in our flight. I was given a handicap room on the 1st floor in the south tower. The property has 2 buildings. Our patio faced the parking lot, which was occupied with construction materials. No ocean view. Plus side was, we were steps away from the door that accessed the pool - which also had the steps to the ocean front. Overall, it was convenient to use the amenities. Staff were great! Anything we needed was delivered to our room within minutes. Room was very clean, and spacious, had a washer and dryer that I wasn’t aware of until we got to our room. Bed was comfortable. I am happy with our stay.

Nice family venue, terrible food options locally so shop and cook.

We enjoyed the 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and large kitchen which was fully equipped for daily cooking. Also liked the balcony, seeing the ocean on the side yet primarily looking down on the parking lot. No onsite restaurant or coffee bar.

Beautiful property, helpful staff, wonderful time!

Everyone was kind, accommodating, and knowledgeable. The property is gorgeous. My family had a wonderful time.
