I have stayed at both La Flora and La Vera. This is my third visit, and I have always been impressed. However, I don't think I'll be returning next time. On the first day of check-in, I planned to take my child to play on the beach. We took a golf cart from the farthest building (Building D) to the beach, and it started raining as soon as we arrived. I felt so sorry for my child. We had to seek shelter from the rain in the covered area of the restaurant (the outdoor area next to the swimming pool). We planned to wait until the rain stopped and then take my child to play in the sand as planned. However, a restaurant staff member came and told us to wait elsewhere because we hadn't ordered any food. I felt extremely disappointed. The restaurant was almost empty, with nearly all tables vacant and hardly any customers dining. If it hadn't been raining, no one would have wanted to wait there. The rain was already a big disappointment for my child. There were seven of us: five adults, one pregnant woman, and one child. We drove from Hat Yai with the intention of relaxing. Experiencing this kind of treatment was enough for us. I understand the restaurant's policies, but they should be more flexible. The staff should assess the situation accordingly.
