Hotel Kolding has to be one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. It is a modern hotel situated directly across the road from the station. Just behind the hotel is a beautiful lake, ideal for an enjoyable stroll. The town centre is a few minutes walk with a good selection of shops, cafes and restaurants. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room we had was a decent size with a couple of armchairs and a coffee table in addition to a desk and chair. The bed was extremely comfortable with a pair of lovely fluffy pillows each plus cushions. The ultra modern bathroom had a good selection of towels, toiletries, tissues plus underfloor heating. Breakfast in the ground floor restaurant offered a good selection of hot and cold items and drinks with everything looking fresh and inviting. We would definitely recommend this hotel and be more than happy to return should we be in the area again.

Der var ikke nogen aircondition på værelset, hvilket gjorde at vi måtte have terrassedøren åben hele natten. Lidt uheldigt da brandtrappen var lige uden for døren.

Fantastisk hotel, morgenmaden var super. Personalet var i top. Kan kun anbefales.

Vi bestilte et værelse med to separate enkeltsenge men sengene kunne ikke skilles ad. Og der var kun to n badekåbe. Ikke den “oplevelse” det blev solgt som

The room was architecturally stripped-down in a Scandinavian style. The essentials were in place. The breakfast was amazing. I suggest every hotel owner to make a visit and learn.

Det var rigtig fint. Har overnattet hos jer flere gange. Det eneste, jeg ønsker bedre er, at I får noteret “sen udtjekning” i jeres system, så I selv kan se det. Jeg har flere gange oplevet, at I kommer op og banker på, fordi klokken er over 11, selvom jeg har tilkøbt sen udtjekning. Det er lidt forstyrrende

Everything was good except that my room was right above the entrance which meant a lot of noise from guests coming and leaving or smoking outside. I could also smell the smoke.
