The food alone makes this a five star review. If you’re going, the breakfast package is worth it and a half. I went alone (six hours before our flight, my partner told me I was everything bad in his life), and I was a little emotional at times, so I’m doing my best not to let that effect my review :) The room was lovely, large enough to do yoga in, had a wonderful bed with proper size pillows, and great everyday housekeeping. I didn’t know this, but if you’re tipping your cleaners: do it daily because they rotate, and they don’t share. The swimming pool was a little disappointing, three lanes and two tiny pools (the me was a hot tub, but they were all the same temp). Honestly though, I just wanted to lay in the sun and get wet once in a while. The gym was very nice, and there were classes I never took, but i was glad were there—lol. I went on several tours that picked up at the hotel or nearby, so that was wicked convenient. The area itself isn’t the most polished, but I felt safe alone (except for the sidewalks… I fell on my face SO many times, so look down). I might try a different area when I go back since the city is huge, but highly recommend this hotel. **Please note that the regional food they served (the more savory dishes) were amazing. But I was in vacation, and ate dessert for breakfast everyday 😂

Everything about this hotel was AMAZING. Room was CLEAN,updated, and spacious. In the city its truly hard to find spacious rooms without feeling cramped. Reception also really nice and attentive. Absolutely loved that aspect. Room service kept Room tidy everyday. Restaurant downstairs is super convenient for any time of the day. Close to downtown. 10-15 min away in car.. ubers are super cheap and convenient in this area as theres hardly any traffic.. quiet neighborhood! Only bad thing is they dont have min fridges .. other than that we Would definitely stay here again ! For sure.

I love everything about this hotel especially the staff. As a non native Spanish speaker they are extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. This is my second visit to this hotel and it is by far the friendliest IHG hotel I have ever stayed in around the world. Highly recommend. Also great gym and pool area. The rooms are always extremely clean too 10/10

Wow. This Holiday inn is getting an unusual five-star review a full 2 days before I check out. I was here for four nights on a long weekend getaway from San Francisco California. Everything about this stay was top quality. Check in was a breeze. The staff could not have been more professional and helpful. The room, room 511, far exceeded expectations. It's a large room. Immaculately clean on check-in and kept clean during my stay. Flawless daily housekeeping. Comfortable bed, good working air conditioning, crystal clear TV, extra seating in the room, functional desk for getting some work done, and even a small balcony. The common spaces in the hotel are wide open, bright, immaculately clean, and well-appointed. While I did not eat at the restaurant, I did enjoy several cups of coffee from the coffee shop. The coffee shop staff could not have been friendlier and more helpful. I didn't swim in the pool but I did sit in the hot tub. Some might complain that it wasn't hot enough, but it was actually perfect for me. It was comfortable for more than 90 minutes, something you would not find in a typical hot tub. Who needs to be boiled alive at a hotel? The water was clean, not overly chlorinated. The pool is a lap pool, and there was a crowd swimming lapse most of the night. But the pool deck is also immaculately clean. I get the impression it might actually be a health club with connection to the hotel. I mentioned room 511, because if you have an opportunity to stay on the 5th floor, and you're interested in the pool, Jim, or hot tub, you can't beat it. From every room door you can see the entrance to the fitness center. A quick and easy walk. As for the neighborhood, it's a nice Mexico City neighborhood. Within a couple of blocks there's a sanborns, and electronics shop, and plenty of other eateries and coffee shops. The El Chapo one line Metro bus station is a 5-minute walk. My only criticism, and this is not unique to this hotel, quite common in Mexico, maintenance and construction workers are more than happy to do heavy construction in common spaces feet away from guests. While taking some Zoom meetings in the lounge area, I had to compete with someone drilling and sawing feet away. If there's any question whether I like this hotel, having been to Mexico City dozens of times and stayed in dozens of different hotels, I've already booked my next trip around my birthday and I'll be back at this holiday in.

We stayed here for two days, and it was average compared to our hotel stays. Personally, I did not like the location because it lacked lighting across the street. The rooms are great, except for the view we had. I also had to run down to the lobby to reactivate my room keys, which was annoying.
