Excellent location and very quaint. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I have already recommended this hotel to all of my friends going to Newport. I will most definitely stay here again.

Our stay was fine. We had a two king bed room. Very spacious. We enjoyed having the room with the beds, a separate sitting area and bathroom. The staff was nice.

Was giving a $350 fine letter under my room door due to checking in and smelling like we had smoked. In all my travels I’ve never ever had something like that happen. We didn’t smoke in the room, it was about an hr before getting there and didn’t even come across another person in the halls. Only person we talked with was checking in. We were in the room maybe 30 min bringing stuff in and left. Came about around 10:30 or so with that note under our door. Very rudely phrased and I was very mine blown. Never going back

The location was good and the hotel was clean although a bit run down.

Very beautiful old style hotel. Wonderful staff, very friendly and helpful. Clean and well appointed room and a nice breakfast was provided.

The room was very dated, it was clean but the beds seemed older. We thought we booked a bit of a room with a sofa and we had a smaller room. That may have been because I asked for 2 beds.

Nice place to stay

The good: beds were comfortable but that’s where it ends. The walls were paper thin. Rooms run down. Upon checkin the man at the front desk proceeded to talk about varying topics for 15 minutes with us while coughing and blowing his nose and not washing his hands afterwards. After a day of travel we wanted to check in, get settled and relax. We didn’t want to hear about why he voted for Trump.Just a turn off. The Inn is on a highly traveled road and you heard every vehicle all night long as if it was driving through your room. We would not stay here again.

Love this old building. My room was spacious, with lots of natural light. The light bulbs they used was warm. Most hotels use daylight colored bulbs, and those feel cold and clinical. A warm bedroom is more relaxing.

The room was very spacious, the bed super big and comfy.

Very clean and quiet. Complimentary breakfast a plus!

Staff were absolutely wonderful and very friendly. Rooms are out of date with peeling paint and electrical outlets flapping off of the walls. We were placed in the first floor room near the breakfast area which meant it got loud right around 7am.

The first room they put us in smelled so bad I had to move; the second room was better but not perfect. The toilet wasn't bolted to the floor and the fan squealed overall the place is old and needs a lot of work. The staff was ok but not overly welcoming. I recommend staying somewhere else
