The hotel itself was minimal to the extreme. The reception area echoed with stone everywhere. The room was spartan - stone floors, little information, empty shelves across one wall. It might have been useful, but it felt cold and unfriendly. Add to that a barn style bathroom door that wouldn’t stay closed, a shower that leaked all over the floor (a stone floor - VERY slick!), a dangerously sloped and uneven floor, and a very uncomfortable bed and, well, as clean and friendly as this location was, it was unacceptable. In addition, I wish we had a second chair in the room - one uncomfortable desk chair was not enough.
