The room was very small and we been given 7th floor

Great location, really delicious breakfast, but old small rooms.

The building is in a good location, Metro near by and shops nearby are relatively cheap compared to sultanahmet however some places charge in dollars! Bedrooms are small Bathroom is tiny, can barely fit to have a shower!

Staff were friendly and helpful especially Abdul Qadir at reception. Family room for four was a little small. Air conditioning wasn’t brilliant but did cool the room. Breakfast was the same everyday. No variety. Our toilet got blocked and wasn’t working for 2-3 days.

During my recent stay at the Grand Washington Hotel, I found the building to be visually appealing and the location convenient. However, the overall experience fell short of expectations. The rooms were small and the furniture appeared worn and outdated. The staff's proficiency in English was limited, making communication challenging. Despite being classified as a four-star hotel, the amenities and services provided were more in line with a two-star rating. The high room rates did not align with the quality offered, as the air conditioning was subpar and the internet connection slow. Based on my experience, I would not choose to stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it to others.

On day 3, I got tired of the same breakfast. They need more varieties in that area. Food was good. Hotel is conveniently located near main points of interest in Istanbul. We chose it on our second stay but was disappointed by the uncleanliness of the bathroom and one of the comforters provided was full of stain, blood tinged area, and dirty. When I called the reception, they provided me with other blankets. No questions asked. For short stays, it is ideal.

There Internet WiFi services are very poor, there breakfast menu is mostly for local people not used as a continental breakfast such as they don't provide fried eggs or omelette they charged us. When you are travelling with family, your children are required this type of breakfast even though they don't have bread..they used mostly Turkish breakfast not continental.

The hotel only have good position . Other things are for a hotel for 2*. All day noise from staff and quests so loud. I don't even can say nothing nice only reception ask me are you okey and they were trying to make my stay easier. It's doesn't worsted. I don't like it a all. Take care obout booking it's not cheap it's must be 20eur or less for night.

Good location friendly staff but facilities are dated no iron available breakfast was horrible (had to pay extra for omelette and fried eggs but boiled eggs were free) non existent swimming pool on the roof

Liked the breakfast, although limited. No iron?? Staff seemed preoccupied and disinterested. Pricey in-house spa and sauna

How Expedia can have such a hotel such as this on the list is beyond me. My passport and may families were taken by hotel staff who refused to give them back to me I had to argue with them before they agreed to hand them over. The room itself was not sound proof and you could hear the other occupants breaking wind. There is no way that this establishment can be rated as a 4 star hotel.I paid £1300 for a weekend break which turned out to be a terrible experience I am now considering never to use Expedia again.

Has potential to be 4 star, but is not at the moment. 2 main issues; variety of meals on half board package is woefully inadequate for a 4star hotel and customer service. Most staff are sad to be there and not welcoming and the health facility staff are outright rude. With a more varied menu and some serious customer service training this could be a really good hotel. The location and cleanliness are excellent and Reception staff are helpful.
